Chapter 122 Squandered Two Hundred and Eighty Thousand

Chapter 122 Squandered Two Hundred and Eighty Thousand
After Dolores came down, she forced Janet to the corner.
She grabbed Janet's shoulders and shook her madly, "What's the matter? Didn't I ask you to take care of her! That's how you take care of her? How could the key to her room be in the hands of another man?"
Janet was dizzy from being shaken.
She immediately stammered an explanation.
Dolores listened.
After that, she concluded, "Did you mean Ebony would go to Lloyd's room everyday to watch a movie, and she opened the door and went in by herself when Lloyd was not there, then she fell asleep halfway through the movie and Lloyd carried her back to her room when he came back? And he carried her so often that a key was left for him?"
Janet nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, they have such an upright work relationship."
Dolores was speechless.
What the hell kind of work relationship is this?
Dolores knew that it was too late for her to be angry now.
Ebony was still having her breakfast, and her face was almost buried in the bowl of noodles.
She asked enthusiastically when she saw Dolores coming back, "Do you want some noodles?"
Dolores snorted, "I'm full of anger!"
Ebony put down the bowl and sat a little closer.
She said smilingly, "Dolores, you said that I've got money, but where is my money?"
Dolores took out a card from her bag irritably and threw it to her, "The password is six zeros. Take it and get lost!"
Ebony took the card quickly, took out her mobile phone, and started linking the account.
Dolores leaned back in her chair and tapped the table with her fingers.
She was still lecturing her, "I won't talk to you about other things, but you are rich now, so please don't be so stingy anymore. Is there any point to be penny-pinching for a few cents?"
Ebony said without looking up, "How can a few hundred dollars be a few cents?"
"Who in the entertainment industry would care about a few hundred dollars?"
Ebony Gibson was silent.
She fiddled with her phone.
Dolores was impatient again, "Listen to what I said..."
Before she could finish her sentence, her phone suddenly rang.
It was a text message, and Dolores wasn't bothered at first.
But then dozens of text messages came.
She took out her mobile phone and saw that the money in the bank card which she registered for Ebony was being transferred away like flowing water.
It's not a one-time transfer.
Instead, they were transferred in small amounts in batches, and finally went into more than 80 different stock accounts.
"What are you doing?" Dolores was surprised.
She looked at Ebony and said, "Why did you transfer all the money to buy stocks? And you have dozens of accounts?"
Ebony put away her mobile phone after she had squandered the two hundred and eighty thousand dollars.
She held up her noodles and ate in big mouthfuls.
Dolores frowned, "I'm asking you."
Ebony looked up from her bowl of noodles but did not answer. She asked resentfully, "Dolores, what is my next job? I want to work as soon as possible."
Dolores thought something was wrong with her, and she became serious, "Ebony, I don't want to intervene in your personal affairs, but your contract with the company has four years to go. If nothing goes wrong, we'll be in the same boat for the next four years. Don't you think you have to explain to me?"
Ebony looked eagerly at Dolores without saying a word.
Dolores added, "You really had no money at the beginning, but later, you got four to seven thousand every month from Amazing Tour. You're not too poor. How come the money in your pocket has never exceeded a hundred dollars? What did you spend your money on?"
Ebony pouted, buried her head, and ate her noodles again.
"Ebony Gibson!"
Dolores was a little angry, "Can you at least give me a clue?"
Ebony drank all the noodle soup before she wiped her mouth.

Looking at Dolores, she said slowly, "By using hundreds of accounts, pretending to be retail investors, acquiring marginal shares of a certain company, gathering funds, and at the right time, integrating, reversing the position to do economic oppression, and then by using some means to do some market guidance, I can make a large company with a market value of more than 1.5 billion to wind up and close down by using a principal of two million in maximum one year and minimum four months if things go well. "
Dolores was speechless.
Listening to her confusing words, Dolores was dumbfounded, "What are you talking about?"
Ebony muttered in a low voice, "Look, you didn't understand even though I told you."
"I understand!" Dolores looked around.
Seeing that no one was paying attention to them, she lowered her voice and said, "Which company are you going to close down?"
Ebony reached out to get the free pickles on the table.
She ate and said at the same time, "My enemy, of course."
Dolores's eyes widened, "What enemy?"
"Dolores," Ebony took a piece of dried radish and brought it to Dolores's mouth.
Her eyes suddenly deepened, and her expression became serious, "There's something that you'd better not know, Dolores."
Dolores was speechless.
After more than ten minutes, Lloyd was finally back with a cake box.
Ebony hurried over immediately.
Dolores was annoyed to see them talking and laughing.
She called out to Ebony, "We've got to go. Get in the car quickly."
Then she said to Lloyd, "Lloyd, thank you for taking care of Ebony all this time, but we've got to go. We have to catch the flight at noon. We'll be late if we don't leave now."
Lloyd looked at Dolores calmly.
Then, he looked at Ebony for a long while before responding with a dull "mmm".
Five minutes later.
Dolores was sitting in the car behind, staring at Lloyd and Ebony in the car in front.
She asked Janet who was next to her, "Why is Lloyd so free that he take her to the airport in person? Isn't he the hero? Isn't he busy?"
Janet shrugged and did not dare to say a word.
She thought that Dolores might swallow her no matter what she said.
In the car in front, Ebony took out a cupcake, tore off the waxed paper, broke off a piece, and fed it to Lloyd beside her.
Lloyd was driving and was stunned for a moment.
Ebony put the piece of cake to his lips and said, "Eat it. You went out without having breakfast. Aren't you hungry?"
Lloyd chuckled before opening his mouth to eat.
Ebony broke off another piece and put it in her own mouth.
She nodded and said, "Sure enough, it makes sense that it's expensive. This shop makes delicious ones."
Lloyd swallowed the cake in his mouth and asked slowly, "What are your plans for the future?"
Ebony shook her head, "Dolores hasn't told me yet. I might have to go back and choose."
She broke off another piece of cake while she spoke and continued to feed it to Lloyd.
By the time that they arrived at the airport, they had eaten a third of the cakes.
Ebony sealed the rest and put on a mask.
She saw that Dolores was already waiting for her outside the car. She opened the door and said to Lloyd Vasquez, "Remember to check your phone later."
Lloyd was puzzled, "Huh?"
Ebony smiled and said, "Just remember to check it out. It's a surprise. I'm sure you'll like it!"
Lloyd laughed and nodded, "Take care."
Ebony got out of the car and ran over to Dolores and Janet.
The three of them walked into the airport together.
It wasn't until they had disappeared completely that Lloyd turned the steering and planned to leave.
Just then, his cell phone rang suddenly.
Thinking of what Ebony had said just now, Lloyd smiled and took out his phone.
It was a message about a bank transfer, and a remark from Ebony.
-- [Here's fifty thousand for you for the owl clock. Although I am very poor, I must pay for my debt. Isn't it a surprise? Like it? Hahaha, of course you like it; who doesn't like money?]
Lloyd was speechless.
