Chapter 126 Striking His Ears Like a Thunderclap

Chapter 126 Striking His Ears Like a Thunderclap
At first, Ebony didn't ask Lloyd.
That was because she knew that Pledge was still being filmed.
Her part in the film was finished, but it was not the case with Lloyd.
Ebony inputted again, "Are you sure? Will Director Knapp let you out?"
"Yeah," Lloyd replied.
Ebony was about to say something.
Lloyd inputted again, "Time for my part of the film. Talk to you later."
Lloyd never appeared again.
Ebony deleted the unfinished message.
In the chat group, Rita suddenly asked, "Director Knapp, which one? That one? No way."
Teri input, "You're ill-informed. Everyone in the circle knows that Lloyd agreed to act in Director Elvin Knapp's new film. Ebony was in the same crew."

Rita inputted, "Wow! That's awesome! Ebony, you were in Director Knapp's film!"
Ebony frowned and asked, "What are you busy with these days?"
Rita replied, "The legal battle. Out of touch with you guys, I know nothing."
Ebony asked, "Lack of evidence?"
Rita replied, "Not really, it's a bit troublesome. There are a lot of procedures, including schedules and adjournment. It will probably take another six months."
Before the case was closed, Rita couldn't come out for any activities.
The good part was that Bulllife Media and Vernon were both going to lose.
In the past few months, Vernon, who was laurelled as the new high-flyer, had gone into obscurity.
Bulllife Media was caught up in lawsuits. Many of its artists were facing a lack of resources.
Seeing that Rita remained cheerful, Ebony didn't say much about it.
She chatted with Teri and Rita for a while longer.
Then she put down her phone and went to check on the trainees.
Since the first public performance had just ended, there wasn't anything for them to practice today.
The dance teacher and music teacher showed the five eliminated trainees the dance video for the next public performance. The lyrics were handed out to them, and they were asked to go back and rest.
Ebony left with them.
Four eliminated trainees were too shy to talk to Ebony.
Stella leaned over and grabbed Ebony's clothes. She was trying to say something but did not dare.
Ebony noticed it, looked sideways at her, and asked, "What's wrong?"
Stella's cheeks quickly turned rosy.
With her head low, she whispered, "Thank you for selecting me."
Ebony found this girl really shy.
She raised her hand, ruffed Stella's short hair, and said, "You're exceptional."
Stella blushed even more.
Even her neck and ears flushed.
Ebony touched Stella's face and suddenly said with concern, "Your skin seems to be very thin, and your capillaries expand too fast. Is it a genetic disease that you blush easily? Does your family have the same issue? Have you seen a doctor?"
Stella was dumbfounded.
Early the next morning, Ebony went to the practice room.
She thought that she was early enough.
To her surprise, the five trainees had all been there. They were helping each other to stretch.
As soon as the five saw her, they hurriedly stood at attention and greeted her respectfully, "Good morning, Miss Gibson."
Ebony waved her hand and said, "Go on with your practice."
After a while, the two teachers arrived.
They greeted each other briefly, and the training began.
The training all morning was not productive.
Stella memorized the moves, but the other four trainees stumbled with them.
They did poorly memorizing the moves and taking their positions.

They only had a week to practice this song. The next public performance was coming up on Sunday. They couldn't afford to waste a minute.
At lunchtime, no one had any appetite.
Only one person ate with relish.
Ebony.
After eating up her bowl of rice, she went to get another.
She ate two portions by herself.
None of the five trainees could finish half a portion.
Ebony noticed it and lectured them, "If you don't eat to your full, how are you going to train in the afternoon?"
Stella was the first one to take Ebony's advice and picked up her pork.
She started to dig in the food.
Ebony nodded at her approvingly.
The other four trainees had no appetite, but since their leading teacher said so, they had to toughen their scalps and finish off their food.
In the afternoon, Ebony continued to watch them practice.
Until the end of the day, the five trainees were still in a state of disunity.
They called it a day.
At night, Lorena returned to the hotel. Instead of going to sleep, she took out the pen and paper and started to sketch.
She came to the practice room the following day.
Before the training started, Ebony interrupted the dance teacher's speech and said, "I'll take charge today."
The dance teacher froze, asking, "Miss Gibson, you're in charge? You'll teach them to dance?"
Ebony hummed, picked up the remote control, turned on the music, and instructed the five trainees, "Come here, take your positions, and show me your moves."
After the instructors and referees guided the teams, the host took up the work of going the rounds.
The host was dressed casually today. A cameraman was following behind him.
Standing in front of the camera, he smiled and introduced, "The practice rooms in front of us are for the three referees' teams. The trainees in their teams were all eliminated. This one is Team No. 2 and this one is Team No. 3. Team No. 1 is led by Miss Gibson. Let's check on Team No. 1 first."
The host walked to the practice room and looked inside through the window.
The five trainees were rehearsing, but the speaker with the remote control in her hand was not the dance teacher. It was Ebony.
The host was a little surprised. "Miss Gibson is instructing them in person. Let's hear her speech."
The door was slightly pushed open.
The host prepared to say hello to those people inside.
The door opened.
Without warning, a voice came out of the insulative room and struck his ears like a thunderclap.
"Jodie, have you got your feet and buttocks on back to front? I asked you to shake your ass, and your legs trembled like you're having polio."
"Paulene, I've told you so many times. Your hands should be above your shoulders. Can't your arms stretch? Do you need me to cut them off? I think you're comfortable with one section short!"
"Twanda, circle to the left, circle to the left. Which is left. You can't tell left from right. What is in your head? Formalin?"
"Tamika, you stepped on someone's foot again. You're so good at it. Were you a sewing machine in your last life?"
"And you, Stella. Why did you dance so quickly? Flaunting your skills? You dance well, but can't you wait for your teammates? Who taught you individual heroism?"
The host listened and trembled at the door.
His hand was on the door, but he didn't dare to push it open.
Just then, Ebony's grumpy voice rang out again. "Who is out there? Sneaky kid, do you want a beating? Can't you see we're practicing? Get out of here!"
The host slammed the door shut.
He wiped the sweat on his head. His face was pale, and he said to the camera, "We... We'd better... check on... other teams."
