Chapter 47 It Didn't Make Any Sense
Worrying that they didn't understand his meaning, the guide spoke again.
Ebony looked at the weird gloves and asked frankly, "We did buy a couple ticket to come in, but can you introduce to us for free if we don't wear the gloves?"
The guide was a little puzzled, "Since you are a couple, why don't you want to wear them? According to the rules, you must wear the gloves with our museum logo on it, and you can get it for free."
If that's the case, then there's no more to say.
Ebony waved her hand and refused, "Forget it..."
As soon as she finished speaking, her wrist was grabbed all of a sudden.
She raised her head, seeing that Lloyd had put on the gloves and said to her, "Wear it."
Ebony looked at the cameraman who followed them. The cameraman took a small camera as a typical mobile phone because it's in public.
But no matter how small the camera was, it's still used for live broadcasting.
"Are you crazy?" Ebony said unceremoniously.
Lloyd glanced at the camera and said, "Every audience knows we're not a real couple."
"That doesn't work..."
"I remember you are an actor?" Lloyd suddenly said.
Ebony was stunned for a moment and frowned, "So what?"
"In the future, you'll hold others' hands, hug others, and even kiss others when acting..." When it came to the word kiss, Lloyd's eyes unconsciously swept to Ebony's soft lips and had to turn his eyes away. "It's unavoidable, sooner or later you have to get used to it."
What he said was totally right, but Ebony thought...
Seeing she still didn't make her mind, Lloyd grabbed her hand into the other glove.
Ebony struggled.
Lloyd frowned and stopped to look at her, "Hurry up."
It sounded like she was wasting time.
It's hard for her to tell Lloyd in front of the camera that she didn't want to have too much contact with him because she had promised Moses and Carlton that she would stay away from him.
They were so defensive about her that they used millions of investment to spy on her in the crew, looking at her like a vixen. So how could she hold hands with Lloyd?
Wasn't this giving them a chance to make trouble to her?
And since Lloyd's fiancée was worried much that Lloyd would have too much contact with other women, she're supposed to avoid to hold his hand.
"I won't wear it." she insisted.
Lloyd looked at her without saying any word for a while, and then said in a deep voice, "Your attitude towards work is so unprofessional that it surprises me."
"You..." Why did he begin to offend her?
Ebony was a little angry. What she did was for him, OK? She didn't want his fiancée to be mad at him! "Okay, you tell me to be professional, right? That's what you said. don't regret it." She put he hand d into the glove!
Then ,their hands automatically held together.
Ebony looked at him with some anger in eyes, and then looked down at their hand holding together.
She was speechless.
A little impulsive...
At this moment, Lloyd showed a sudden smile, and said to the guide, "She's mad at me, sorry."
The guide smiled and said as if he had guessed something right, "I can see at a glance that you are a couple who are in a quarrel. Come on, please come this way with me."
The guide, followed by Lloyd and Ebony, was giving them a endless introduction.
The two were holding hands from beginning to end.
Although there were two layers of fabric between their hands, Ebony could still feel the temperature on the other side of the fabric, which belonged to a man.
Ebony was a little irritable, and was absent-minded when she listened to the guide.
After leaving the first venue, Ebony immediately wanted to withdraw her hand from the gloves, but Lloyd didn't let her go. He grabbed her tightly, and said calmly, "Go to the next place."
Then Ebony was taken to the next room. Seeing them holding hands in gloves, the guide didn't say anything about the cost, and came up to serve them directly.
After visiting a few venues, Ebony was almost tired to death.
However, during the visit, they did get a lot of preferential treatment because of wearing gloves.
After three hours, the tour was finally over.
It was noon at the moment.
When arriving at the exit, Ebony saw that there were staff delivering things there.
With a look of joy on her face, she took Lloyd and went to line up.
When it was their turn, she raised their hands in the gloves and showed them to the staff.
The staff gave them a bear doll with a smile, and then said, "There is a lottery box here. Today, all couples have a chance to draw a lottery. The first prize is a set of commemorative jade gift boxes, and the second prize is an imitated blue and white porcelain vase, the third prize is a snuff bottle with exquisite craftsmanship, and the commemorative award is a sandwich made by our restaurant."
Although the prizes were all modern craftsmanship, just worth a few hundred dollars, but the sandwich was practical and could be as a lunch.

Ebony said irritably, and then took out another bag of small biscuits from her backpack.
Lloyd's face changed when he saw the little biscuits.
When Ebony was about to tear up the package and eat the biscuits in melancholy, she realized that she only had one hand, and the other hand was still being held by Lloyd.
She immediately took out her hand.
Lloyd looked at her calmly. When she took her hand away, he slowly took out his hand, then folded the gloves and put them in the pocket of his coat.
Ebony tore open the package, and handed another bag of biscuits to Lloyd while eating.
Lloyd took the biscuits and remained motionless.
Ebony gave a deliberate smile and said, "We are penniless now, so you have to learn to save."
Lloyd glanced at her, and in the end he could only unpacked it.
Just as he was about to eat, Ebony reached out and stopped his hand.
"Just kidding. You are like a fool." The two hands held together for a moment, and then quickly separated.
Ebony took back the biscuits in Lloyd's hand and threw them into her backpack. She swallowed the biscuits in her mouth, and then said, "Let's go, no matter how poor I'm, I can still support you."
