Chapter 322 Do What? Clapping?


Linda was stunned, looking at Ebony.


Ebony was already heading outside to reapply her makeup.


Linda glared Ebony's back and shouted, "What do you mean? You want to fight?"


Director Mcmullen down there frowned and said, "What's wrong again?"


Linda pointed at Ebony and complained, "Director Mcmullen, she just called me names!"


Director Mcmullen looked to Ebony on the other side.


Ebony looked back at Linda, who was angry. She said slightly, "That wasn't name calling. You'd probably cry if I do call you names next time."


Linda was so stunned. She stuttered, "You... you... you..."


Ebony laughed and said, "Why do you stutter? Your speech is so slurred. Has your cancer spread?"


Linda was shocked.


Director Mcmullen was also startled.


The whole set immediately became silent.


No one would have expected that on the first day of filming, Ebony would cross Linda.


Linda glared at Ebony, and her look was vicious.

She managed to cry so easily. She really had good acting. No wonder director Mcmullen didn't want to change actresses.

He turned to Lloyd and said, "Can't you do something?"


Lloyd glanced lightly at director Mcmullen and asked, "Do what? Clapping?"


Director Mcmullen was speechless.


Director Mcmullen could only say to Ebony, "Ebony, come here!"


Ebony walked over calmly.


Director Mcmullen pulled her aside and said, "What's wrong with you?"


Ebony looked indifferent and replied, "I just didn't want to coddle her. She couldn't follow my rhythm of acting, yet she has so many excuses and blame on me. Our country issued her an ID card out of humanitarian reasons, but who could've believed she really regards herself as a human!"


Director Mcmullen didn't know what to say.


Director Mcmullen waved his hand saying, "All right. Behave yourself and no more name calling."


With that, he walked to Linda in person and comforted her. After all, filming hadn't started yet. They couldn't shut down just because the conflict between the actresses.


Lloyd, who was sitting next to the director's chair, put down his script and looked at Ebony.


Ebony still ignored him. She turned around and walked back to the makeup artist.


When Ebony were done with applying her makeup, Linda on the other side felt a little better than before, and the makeup artist reapplied her makeup.


Finally, after a delay of nearly half an hour, the scene resumed shooting.


But Linda failed the first filming of play again.


When Linda and Lloyd were playing opposite earlier, she failed on purpose. Now, Ebony and she were playing opposite, she was overwhelmed by Ebony's rhythm, and that was why her performance wasn't up to the mark.


Director Mcmullen also found out what was going on over there on the set. He realized the gap between the two was huge.

After finishing work at night, Ebony was lying on the bed reading the script.

Ebony squinted. She rolled over, with her back to the door, and didn't move.


On the outside, the knock sounded again, and Janet's voice came over, "Ebony, are you still up?"


Ebony paused for a second. Then she sat up and opened the door.


Outside of the door, Janet looked very anxious. She held her phone and asked, "Ebony, did you check your Twitter?"


Ebony was confused, and she said, "No. What's up?"


Janet showed the phone to her and said, "There are several negative news about you which became top searches!"


Ebony took her phone over and squinted.

Janet's said, "Starting from 8 o 'clock in the evening, people have kept saying negative things about you on the Internet. There were no photos, but just internal disclosures. They said that you were arrogant and put on airs in the crew, and that you were very nasty with actresses. They exposed lots of your dark history, saying you were a person with many flaws and relied on Lloyd to become famous. They also said you were malignant and vicious in nature.


"Dolores is dealing with it now, but it's hard to withdraw the top searches, because there are business people operating the whole thing behind."


Ebony raised her eyebrows. She swiped up and down those top searches and scoffed. She said, "I really underestimated her."


Janet said, "What are we going to do now, Ebony?"

Ebony swiped down on the screen and found the news.


No wonder Linda was so unaccountably malicious towards her when they first met.

Ebony turned off her phone and stepped outside.


In the other room, director Mcmullen was smoking a cigarette and complaining to Lloyd.


He said loudly, "They say women are trouble. I think that's true, and especially for your Ebony!"


Lloyd got up and opened the window of the room to air out the smoke.


He said, "She's been a lot kinder lately"


Director Mcmullen frowned and asked, "Kinder? What was she like before?"


Lloyd pondered and said, "She used to be a bull, and now she is a bunny."


Director Mcmullen didn't know what to say.


Lloyd added, "She was hard to be tamed, but now she is pretty docile."

As he was about to say something, his phone rang.


Director Mcmullen was shocked when he heard what the person on the other end of the phone said. He asked, "What did you say? How did our crew's internal affairs leak out? Linda's boyfriend did it? I'm really... Well, just get someone to post a tweet to smooth things over... Why not? What do you mean Ebony posted a tweet?"


Lloyd was stunned. He picked up his phone and opened Twitter.


Director Mcmullen also hurriedly opened Twitter.
