Chapter 279 Give You All My Savings

Chapter 279 Give You All My Savings

Ebony didn't know what to say.

And she blushed with shame after hearing what Lloyd said!

She never expected that it would be so!

The truth was that what Lloyd and Max had done was deceit.

Ebony directly blamed it on her master, Max.

Anyway, her master was the culprit for why she kissed Lloyd!

If she hadn't been anxious to save Max, she wouldn't have done such a shameful thing. What's more, Lloyd kept taunting her since he got the goods on her.

Ebony secretly clenched her back teeth. She glanced at Lloyd and didn't want to admit that she was wrong, so she pretended not to mind it and said, "That's okay. It's just a kiss. I'm a professional actress. I don't mind it! But Mr. Vasquez, you've said that the show becomes more real because of my appearance. Would you mind paying me the fee as a guest performer?"

Lloyd stared at her quietly. He then raised his eyebrows and asked, "Miss Gibson, how much do you want?"

Ebony demanded an exorbitant price, "150 thousand!"

Lloyd was stunned.

Ebony thought Lloyd didn't hear her clearly, so she immediately stressed again, "I said 150 thousand. 150 thousand dollars!"

Looking at her eyes, Lloyd said calmly, "Miss Gibson, it's no problem how much you demand. It's also no problem to give all my savings to you."

Ebony was shocked.

Lloyd continued, "If it's not enough, I'll give my life to you."

Ebony didn't know what to say.

Alright, she had to admit that she was wrong this time.

Ebony didn't want to talk to Lloyd about it anymore. She then turned to look at the clock on the wall and tried to divert the topic. She said, "You said we have three hours to rest?"

Lloyd looked at her and he also didn't talk about it anymore since she had stopped it. He said, "The government army will take a new action around six or seven a.m."

Ebony nodded when hearing it. She then walked to the bed, took the quilt, and sat on the bed. She then said, "Get some sleep."

Lloyd was surprised and then he walked towards her.

But Ebony instantly stretched out her hand to stop him. She glared at him and said, "Don't push your luck! Go to sleep on the sofa!"

Lloyd pursed his lips and stood still.

Ebony took off her shoes and got into the quilt. Then she stretched out her arms and legs and took up the whole bed. She didn't leave any space for Lloyd!

Lloyd looked at her quietly for a while. Finally, he walked to the sofa.

Although Ebony said she wanted to sleep, she actually couldn't sleep at all.

Not to mention that they were in the camp of their enemy and it wasn't safe, but that there were a large number of hostages whose lives were uncertain in the lobby understairs. Who would be so cold-hearted and sleep in such a situation?

The more Ebony thought about it, the more anxious she was. She couldn't help but take out her mobile phone and click into the live stream room.

And then, she saw that the staff and the guests of Love Romance were sleeping like a dog in the area of hostages in the live stream room!

Donald, wearing a hat, wrapped himself in warm clothes. He leaned his head against the pillar of the lobby and slept soundly with his eyes closed.

Next to Donald, Josue, having nothing to lean on, leaned against Donald to sleep. His head was pressing on Donald's arm.

In front of Josue, the chief director was snoring, sleeping like a log. He put his head on Josue's calf. He seemed to be dreaming of food, so he was grinding his teeth while sleeping.

The assistant director next to the chief director, whose gesture was like a young married woman, curled up like a small shrimp and coiled into mosquito-repellent incense when sleeping.

But she saw much more.

Behind them, the big, tall cameraman turned over while sleeping. His legs, as strong as an elephant's, directly hit on the head of the thin and weak propman who was beside him. What was interesting was that the propman wasn't woken by the huge move. Besides, he murmured, "Kitty, be quiet. I'm tired. I'll get you the cat food later..."

... It was obvious that he had been used to being pressed by cats on his head at home.

Ebony got speechless.

Ebony worried about them so much that she couldn't sleep, but those guys were sleeping soundly there. She really felt that her worry was simply in vain!

Ebony covered the quilt and turned off her mobile phone. She intended to close her eyes to sleep!

Before closing her eyes, she saw Lloyd who was on the sofa.

Lloyd didn't sleep either. He put his arm behind his head and lay on his back, looking out of the window.

It was still raining outside the window. He was looking at the rain. His dark eyes were lazy.

From this angle, Ebony could clearly see Lloyd's chiseled profile.

His nose was high and the lines of his cheekbones were smooth and handsome.

Lloyd was simply the one that would be easily spotted among the crowd even though he was covered with dirt and mud and dressed up in the most shabby and dirty clothes.

He was eye-catching with a pretty appearance.

When looking at Lloyd, Ebony simply couldn't take her eyes off him.

Time just went by.

When Lloyd lowered his eyelids and turned to look at the bed, he saw Ebony was asleep.

Her face was just in his direction, and she had the quilt covering her waist. When she slept, her lips slightly opened. She exhaled with her nose as well as mouth.

He knew she was looking at him.

He then chuckled and turned over to sit on the sofa.

He didn't want to wake her up. He only wanted to cover the quilt for her.

He walked slowly towards her.

He gently covered the quilt for her.

He thought she would wake up, but unexpectedly, when he finished it, Ebony, who was sleeping on the bed, still didn't move.

Lloyd was puzzled.

"Pretend to sleep?" He gave a soft murmur.

Ebony, sleeping on the bed, didn't respond to him. She still didn't move. Her fingers were grasping a part of the pillow with her lips slightly opening.

She was not pretending to sleep?

Lloyd frowned.

He had only seen Ebony in deep sleep once since he knew her.

It was the day before her birthday when he took her back to the Dabney family's old house.

In that familiar and reassuring environment, she took off her guard for the first time and loosened the tight shell at the bottom of her heart.

And now...

Lloyd was silent. He went back to the sofa, but when he lay down again, his eyes always followed the peaceful figure on the bed.

Did he reassure her?

At six o'clock in the morning, Ebony was pushed and awakened by Lloyd.

She rubbed her eyes and sat up in bed confused, with the imprint pressed on the pillow on her face.

Lloyd handed her his mobile phone.

Ebony took a look at it and saw that there was a sequence of military passwords on it. It was sent by an unknown phone number. And the combination of these passwords meant retreat.

Ebony widened her eyes.

Lloyd said coldly, "The rebels agreed to release all the hostages."

Ebony didn't have time to think about it. She immediately put on her shoes and followed Lloyd to go outside.

They climbed out of the hotel along the outer wall. In less than ten minutes, there was a clamor from the gate of the first floor.

It was true that everyone was released.

When Ebony was about to ask Lloyd how the government army and the rebels held the peace negotiation, Lloyd's phone was ringing.

He answered it.

Ebony thought it was a private phone call from the military headquarters, so she didn't eavesdrop.

But two seconds later, Lloyd handed her the phone.

Ebony was shocked. She held the phone and was confused. She asked, "Talking to me? Is my spirit of fighting against evil forces admired by the military army? And they decide to make an exception to make me join them?"

Lloyd was speechless.

Ebony was so excited that she couldn't help herself. She coughed and took the phone carefully. She then greeted on the phone full of spirit and energy, "Hello, sir!"

It was silence on the phone.

Five seconds later, she heard the voice of the deputy director on the phone. He roared, "Captain? Miss Gibson, where are you? We didn't find you when assembling. We thought you were assassinated by the rebels since you scolded their leader!"

Ebony didn't what to say.

Her great passion was instantly hit and nothing was left.

Ebony looked at Lloyd in confusion who was beside her.

Lloyd frowned and said, "They called you but they couldn't get through. They can't find you."

Ebony hurriedly took out her mobile phone and saw that she somehow set it to airplane mode.

At this time, there came the voice of the chief director on the phone.

The chief director asked excitedly, "Are they staying together? See, I've told you that they must have eloped!"
