Chapter 25 You Are Totally Different
Ebony said without any expression on her face, "Stop, please. I've regretted it and I showered three times this morning but I still feel dirty. What do you want me to do?"
"Ohh... " Rita turned around. She hugged Teri and cried.
Teri didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Rita didn't seem to take what happened last night seriously. But Teri knew that she was bearing it.
When they were packing up just now, Rita told her that Bulllife Media had already issued a statement and a certificate of Vernon's injury at the same time. Besides, they hired many people to post something on the Internet through different marketing accounts.
In short, Vernon didn't insult Rita but Rita slandered him because she failed to court him.
While the two witnesses, Ebony and Lloyd were used by Rita to beat Vernon.
As soon as this statement was issued, lots of netizens didn't believe it. But they could do nothing. After all, Rita didn't call the police yesterday.
Bulllife Media even distorted the truth. They made up some dirt on Rita. They said Rita had an abortion when she was in high school. She once loved a boy but he didn't love her, so she set fire at his house, and finally, the boy was forced to drop out of school and move to another place to avoid seeing her.
Rita was simply an abnormally hopeless romantic according to them.

She then stopped and waited for him to come.

Lloyd still remained silent. His angular face showed alienation from the inside out.
"Lloyd," Ebony said softly. She usually didn't call him like this but she was flattering him right now.
But Lloyd still didn't talk to her.
"Don't be angry," Ebony said cautiously.
Lloyd walked to the other side keeping away from her.
Ebony shamelessly followed him, "I was talking nonsense yesterday. The situation was too urgent and I just blurted it out subconsciously. Don't be angry, I apologize to you."
Lloyd finally rested his cold eyes on her, "Nonsense? I think you were very sincere."
"How come?" Ebony scratched her face, "What I said 'You wish I don't care about you. You've done the same thing as Vernon' was simply nonsense. How can you be the same as Verno? Lloyd didn't respond to her anymore.

After that, he went straight ahead.
Ebony followed him and sighed heavily.
She told to herself, ''It's so hard to flatter him."
She really didn't mean it...
In the end, all the people sat in a row on the public seats at the bus stop.
Everyone was silent and then Ebony suddenly said, "Take a break for three minutes and we will go."
Everyone looked at her for an instant.
She suddenly said it like a leader. Did it mean that she would lead them again?
