Chapter 286 Ebony, Will You Marry Lloyd

Chapter 286 Ebony, Will You Marry Lloyd?

After buying the ingredients, Ebony came back soon.

While she was cooking, Lloyd quickly got up to help her.

However, as he was walking to the kitchen, Lloyd swept a glance at Virginia, who was squatting on the dining room floor playing with Rolls-Royce.

Virginia met Lloyd's gaze.

Then, she hurriedly lowered her little head. She flinched and pretended to see nothing.

Soon, the dinner was ready.

Ebony knew that Virginia was well-behaved and didn't need to be fed, so she gave Virginia the spoon and let her eat.

Virginia ate the shredded meat one bite at a time while having rice. Soon, her mouth became greasy.

Then Lloyd took a paper towel and wiped Virginia's mouth.

After wiping her mouth, Lloyd didn't let go of Virginia. Instead, he stroked Virginia's hair and intentionally asked, "Virginia, didn't you have anything to say to your mother?"

Virginia froze and instantly felt that the shredded meat she was eating was not that delicious. Then she gave Lloyd a timid look and looked very torn.

However, Lloyd gently encouraged her by saying, "Go ahead. Say it if you want to. It's okay. I'm here."

Then, Virginia hesitantly lowered her little head. After thinking for a while, Virginia finally raised her head and looked at Ebony sitting across from her and said, "Mommy, I want to have a young brother and sister. You and daddy should have another baby as soon as possible."

Ebony was speechless.

Ebony was stunned.

However, Lloyd was smiling.

As Lloyd chuckled and was about to speak, he heard Virginia say, "Your mother will be back soon. Just say that to her. Got it?"

Ebony was speechless.

Lloyd was rendered speechless.

After saying that, Virginia looked up at Lloyd. Then, with a proud face, she said, "Daddy, I remembered. Did I say it right?"

Lloyd was speechless.

Ebony suddenly glared at Lloyd with a cold look in her eyes.

For a moment, Lloyd felt her threat.

"Lloyd!"

As Lloyd looked awkwardly at Ebony glaring at him, he explained, "I... I was just kidding."

"How can you joke about something like that?" Ebony slapped the table and stood up. Then, she rushed after Lloyd and tried to beat him up.

Lloyd got up and took a half step back. Then, he gently coaxed, "I was wrong. I was so wrong."

"Stop! Don't run!"

"Bang!"

There was turmoil in the room.

At that moment, Virginia grabbed her little spoon and shoved another spoonful of rice and shredded meat into her mouth. Then, she obediently continued eating.

In the evening, Ebony bathed Virginia. Then she tucked Virginia into the big bed in her room and asked, "What time do you go to school tomorrow?"

Virginia, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, replied obediently, "I don't have to go to school tomorrow. It's the weekend."

Ebony realized that tomorrow was Saturday. Then, she asked, "And how long will you be here?"

Virginia pouted and muttered, "Ebony, don't you like me being here too? Lloyd doesn't like me coming here..."

Ebony smiled as she pinched the tip of Virginia's nose and said, "So you're bullying him, are you? How's that? Does your appetite get better when you see him beaten?"

Virginia froze. Then, her ears turned red for a moment. She lowered her head sheepishly and hurriedly changed the subject. "Uncle Darryl says he's coming to pick me up next Monday!"

So Virginia would stay here for two days.

After thinking about it, Ebony reckoned it made sense. After all, the show was required to be recorded in a limited time. And the crew certainly could not always let the guests take care of the children. Therefore, it was enough for the guests to spend two days with the children.

After putting Virginia's pajamas on, Ebony told Virginia to get under the covers. Then, Ebony pulled the covers back on her and said, "That's it. Go to sleep. I'll wake you up in the morning for breakfast."

"Ebony," Virginia suddenly grabbed Ebony's sleeve and asked curiously, "Ebony, are you really going to marry Lloyd?"

Ebony was stunned.

When Ebony looked at Virginia's curious eyes, she tapped Virginia on her head. Then Ebony said, "Stop gossiping about me."

Virginia snorted and pouted. "But I want to know. Ebony, just tell me."

"Go to bed!" Ebony coolly drew her hand back. Then she tucked Virginia's hand under the covers again. After that, she turned off the light and walked out of the room.

Outside, the hallway was empty.

Ebony couldn't help but look at the door of Lloyd's room in front of her.

Thinking of Virginia's question, Ebony hurriedly shook her head. Then, she quickly ran back to her room.

Early the next morning, the crew sent the task cards to the guests again. It said that the guests should take their children out today.

While they were eating breakfast, Ebony asked Virginia, "Where do you want to go to play?"

Virginia blinked her eyes. Then, she obediently said, "I'll listen to you and dad."

Because Lloyd resented Virginia for exposing his plans earlier, Lloyd looked at the pretentious look on Virginia's face and said in a light voice, "There seems to be a Math Olympiad tutoring session near the neighborhood."

Virginia was speechless.

Ebony was speechless.

Then Ebony looked up at Lloyd and scolded him. "She's just a kid. Why do you want her to learn Math Olympiad? I guess she just learned how to add, subtract, multiply and divide within ten!"

Virginia was speechless.

Virginia didn't dare to say that she could actually know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide within 100. If she did, she was afraid that Lloyd would really send her to take that Math Olympiad course.

At that moment, the doorbell suddenly rang.

Lloyd got up and answered the door.

Outside the door were Donald and Kara and their "son" Xander.

As soon as Xander saw Lloyd, he shouted politely, "Hello."

Lloyd looked at Xander for a moment and then said gently, "What a nice boy!"

Donald stroked Xander's head and asked, "Mr. Vasquez, did you get the task too? Where do you want to take the kids?"

Lloyd looked inside the room and said, "We're still talking about it."

Donald also looked into the room and then said to Ebony, "Miss Gibson, why don't we go out together? We want to take Xander to an amusement park."

When Ebony heard Donald's suggestion, she got up and walked to the door as she said hesitantly, "Wouldn't the amusement park be too crowded?"

Kara whispered, "It's okay. If we put on masks, we won't be easily recognized. We can go somewhere less crowded."

Ebony frowned as she said, "But when I went to buy coffee last time with a mask, sunglasses, and a hat, I was recognized. The waiter asked me, 'Beautiful, what do you want to order? '"

Kara was speechless.

Donald was speechless.

Lloyd sighed. Then he stroked Ebony's hair helplessly and said to Kara and Donald, "Forgive me."

Ebony was speechless.

Finally, everyone decided to go to the amusement park together.

Because their group had more people, they asked for a seven-passenger car from the crew.

Then, the team parked the seven-passenger car in front of the neighborhood. They had to walk to the entrance and then get in the car.

On the way, Xander was very energetic and kept talking to Virginia.

Virginia had a strict upbringing, so she rarely hung out with boys. When she saw Xander kept talking, she listened to him carefully.

At that moment, there was an old man walking slowly with a golden retriever at the curb.

Seeing this, Xander ran over to the old man excitedly. He walked up to the dog, then waved to Virginia and called out, "Virginia, come and see."

Virginia didn't go over right away. She looked at Ebony first. After getting Ebony's permission, Virginia ran over in small steps.

Xander didn't pet the dog. He just asked the old man, "Excuse me, what's your dog's name?"

The old man said kindly, "Her name is Hazel." He said to the dog, "Hazel, say hello."

The golden retriever seemed to understand the old man's words and immediately barked, "Woof woof!"

"Wow!" Xander and Virginia were taken aback.

Ebony smiled as she walked over. Then she stroked Virginia's head and said, "Say hello to Hazel."

Virginia was stunned. She looked at the golden retriever and then at Ebony. In the end, she could only learn to bark. "Woof woof!"
