Chapter 108 A Reminder
Being questioned by Leila like this, Penny wanted to say something to retort. But she had nothing to say.
After all, she was the one who suggested her son to go halves on bills with Leila. She also knew that even if there were no go-have mode, her son didn't give his money to Leila.
"Mom, let's go."
Priscila, dissatisfied with Leila's attitude, did not let Penny say more and pulled Penny away. Just before she left, she took a few glances at things Teresa and Gwendolyn had brought to Leila.
When they came downstairs, Priscila said to her mother, "Mom, since Teresa's husband is working in a big company, do you think he earns a lot? Since Teresa got married to him, every time she comes over with a bunch of stuff for Leila. I took a few glances at those bags. The fruits she bought are all the expensive ones."
"Yes. I saw that bag with durian, carrion, grapes, blueberries, and other very expensive fruits. The durian costs $12 a pound."
Penny said, "Think about your brother's income. Teresa's husband works at the Donovan Group. And your brother said the Donovan Group is the number one group in Watenll City. Those who can work at the Donovan Group are the best of the best."
"Your brother also said that with his ability he may not be able to work for the Donovan Group. So, Teresa's husband must be a competent person. Teresa has always been extremely good to Leila. Now that Patrick isn't giving Leila any money, doesn't she have to help Leila out?"

Penny and Priscila got into the car.
Priscila drove away.
Penny sighed and said, "Let Patrick decide. I'm not happy with Leila for beating Patrick this time. But Leila is more reliable in terms of running a family. Besides, Leila has no family or relatives to rely on. Her relatives in her hometown are a bunch of shameless people. They won't help her at all."
"And I've learned about Miss Pike's family. She has two brothers. Although her family's condition is not as good as our family, her family is willing to back her up. If Patrick marries her, what will happen to me and your father in case she and I don't get along?"
Penny just liked to lecture Leila as a mother-in-law. Isabelle had two brothers. And if she treated Isabelle as she treated Leila, there would be a quarrel. Besides, if Patrick and Isabelle had a conflict, Isabelle could call her two brothers to help her. They could beat Patrick to death.

Patrick was a man. She didn't think her son would lose anything anyway.
Leila knew Penny and Priscila would badmouth her. But she couldn't imagine that they were helping Patrick hide his affair.
After sending off the obnoxious Penny and Priscila, she said to Teresa and Gwendolyn, "Teresa, Gwen, you buy so many things over again. I don't know what to say."
"Leila, we just brought you some fruit and snacks. These are not expensive things."
Gwendolyn laughed, "Leila, I thought you and Andy are living in this house alone now. And no matter how much I brought would be eaten by you two only. And no one can give away the stuff I brought anymore. So, I brought more. You can put the rest in the fridge and enjoy it later."
She noticed that Priscila glanced at these things before leaving.
The gifts Teresa and Hubert brought over for Leila were given to the Cerones by Patrick, which made Leila very angry.
After Teresa finished feeding Andy, she took a new toy to Andy and let him play on his own. Then she said to her sister, "Sis, pay attention to what Priscila said."
"Which words?"
