Chapter 105 Mr. Donovan's Indifference

Chapter 105 Mr. Donovan's Indifference
Teresa didn't know anything about Hubert and his friends eating here.
She chatted with Gwendolyn and Ezra while eating for a long time.
Ezra had to leave first after he had received a call. Teresa said, "Your sister and I have also finished, then I'll go to the checkout. Ezra, if you have something to deal with, you can go first. Don't mind us. your sister and I will go to the cafe next to this restaurant."
The last time when Teresa accompanied her friend went on a blind date at Violet Cafe, she fell in love with that cafe because of its quietness.
This street was very lively, even prosperous. The owner of the coffee shop was generous to install sound insulation materials in it. So when customers entered the cafe, they couldn't hear the noise outside.
Ezra thought that his cousin was also driving over and could take Teresa home later, so he said, "Okay, goodbye."
"Take care when driving on the road."
Gwendolyn told her cousin.
"Please send Teresa back later."
Teresa had a car, but she rarely drove it because it cost hundreds of dollars to fill the fuel tank as the oil price had risen.
Therefore, she tried her best to avoid driving her car.
Anyway, she was economical in all areas of her life.
The family expenses that Hubert gave her could be regarded as considerable.
Teresa had never thought about squandering this sum of money.
Gwendolyn said with a smile, "I see. I'll send your Teresa back without you saying so, so hurry up and go do your thing. You can't even be reassured to have a meal on weekend."
It was so onerous to be a successor of the big group.
Ezra was a little reluctant to leave but he had to.
After Teresa paid the bill, she walked out of the restaurant hand in hand with her friend. Then they walked to the nearby Violet Cafe.
As soon as she entered the door, the bodyguards of the Donovan family found her.
Immediately, they notified Hubert.
Hubert went here not for drinking coffee but for seeking quietness.
He had to calm himself down.
He wanted to forget the scenes of Teresa and Ezra interacting intimately.
Hubert's face tensed up and turned cold when he heard the bodyguard say that Teresa had also come in.
Now even Dean noticed his change.
Dean and Morgan exchanged a quick, meaningful look. Dean said, "Hubert, do you need me and Morgan to leave here for a while?"
Hubert only saw Teresa coming in with Gwendolyn's arm, but he didn't see Ezra. Although his love rival was gone, he still had s sullen look on his face. After listening to his friend's question, he said in a low voice, "She doesn't know you two."
Dean and Morgan were speechless.
It was true that Teresa didn't know them at all. She didn't know their identities either. Thus, there was no need for them to leave.
Seeing Hubert sitting still, Morgan said jokingly, "Don't you go say hello to her?"
Hubert said indifferently, "She has her circle of friends, and I don't know her friends, so there is no need to say hello."
Morgan shrugged.
Well, she was not his wife after all. Since Hubert didn't bother to greet her, he and Dean were even less likely to go and greet her.
The position that Teresa and Gwen stayed in was a little far from where Hubert and his two friends were. She had her back to Hubert, so she didn't notice that Hubert was there. However, Hubert could easily see her every move.
Hubert, who was angry, was very indifferent when his wife came to the cafe. Not only did he not go over to greet her, but he also did not even look at her, as if they were strangers.
Morgan was a little dumbfounded.

Could it be that the several times his boss flaunted his wife in front of him were really just for show?
But the elder lady no longer meddled in the affairs of the company and rarely went to the company. There was no need for Hubert to act in front of him.
Morgan was so confused.
Forget it, it was Hubert's private matter. He believed Hubert could handle it well. As Hubert's friend, what he should do was believe in him and stand by him to watch his "show".
If there was no good show to watch, he would go home and sleep.
Two hours later.
Teresa looked at the time. It was already three o'clock in the afternoon. She said to her friend, "Gwen, let's go back. I have to go to visit my sister."
"Okay."
It was indeed time to go home and she had no objection to what Teresa had said, "Let's go to the supermarket later. I'll buy some fruit and some toys for Andy. I'll go to your sister's house with you. I don't want to go home and see my mother's grim face."
Teresa smiled and said, "You deserve it. After all, you simply lay down on the ground at the Plotnick family banquet. Not only did you disgrace yourself, but you also disgraced your aunt. It's no wonder that your mother is angry with you."
Gwendolyn thought about what she had done and smiled, "I think it's good for me. My mother and aunt will thus not think I have the raging beauty to be a queen. Now that they have given up on me, I won't be nagged by them."
"Hey, Teresa, look at the three people sitting at the table. Is one of them Mr. Donovan?"
When Gwendolyn got up, she saw Hubert. She patted her friend's hand and asked Teresa to confirm it.
Teresa followed her friend's line of sight and looked over. It was really her man.
"It's him."
After all, it was rare to see someone as indifferent as Hubert.
Teresa could confirm it at a glance.
"Would you like to go over and greet him?"
Teresa said hesitantly, "He's with his friends. I'm not familiar with his friends, so it's not good to say hello like this."
In fact, she had never seen any of Hubert's friends.
On the other hand, he didn't tell her anything about his friends.
"Well, let's slip away quietly."
Gwendolyn also felt that it was not good to suddenly go over to greet him, so she thought about slipping away before Hubert came over and found the two of them.
Teresa thought the same way.
So the two girls slipped away quickly and quietly.
However, Hubert had noticed it long ago. Seeing Teresa pretended not to see him, and chose to slip away quickly, Hubert snorted coldly in his heart. Even if she came to say hello, he would not respond to her.
Anyway, she had self-knowledge.
After coming out of Violet Cafe, Teresa laughed at herself, "Why do I feel like a thief?"
Gwendolyn laughed at her, "That's because you didn't go over to greet Mr. Donovan and snuck away instead."
"His expression is cold, and I am afraid that he would pretend that he didn't know me if I went over to greet him. If so, I will be embarrassed." After all, they didn't announce to the outside world that they were married.
Gwendolyn thought about it, "I guess you are right. There are several luxury cars here. See, that one is a Rolls Royce."
Teresa glanced at the luxury cars carelessly. "You also said that Violet Cafe was the largest and most advanced cafe in the city. It's normal to see luxury cars here. There is a Rolls Royce in the community where I live now, which is similar to that one."
"It's still parked downstairs in the building where I live. Anyway, I can almost see that luxury car when I go to work every day."
Because of that luxury car, Teresa felt that the Florence Garden was instantly elevated to a much higher level.
