Chapter 71 Wife VS. Suitor
Teresa said, "... At least, you are a general manager in the company. But your chances of meeting your boss are so slim. Your boss is really... Well, he's too condescending and mysterious."
And there was no photo of Young Master Donovan online.
Young Master Donovan had bodyguards following him whenever he went out. It was because he had so many tall and strong bodyguards around him at the last party that Teresa and her friend could not see what he looked like even if they tiptoed.
Teresa was relieved when she thought that even Hubert, a white-collar worker at the Donovan Group, rarely got to meet Young Master Donovan.
Hubert kept quiet.

Teresa and Hubert talked about Young Master Donovan as they walked back to Building B.
Hubert's bodyguards were wandering around while following Hubert and Teresa. Wherever the couple walked, the bodyguards followed them. And they didn't let Hubert and Teresa out of their sight.
And Teresa was not aware that she was being watched.
She suddenly turned her head and saw a bodyguard wandering around not far away. Then, she found the bodyguard looked familiar and stopped walking. She said to Hubert, "That man looks familiar."
Hubert was startled.
The bodyguard was Steven.
Steven was startled the moment he saw Hubert and Teresa looking at him. Soon, he walked over as if nothing had happened.
"You were the designated driver from the other night, weren't you?"
Teresa remembered who he was.
It turned out that this familiar-looking man was the driver who took Hubert home after he was drunk.
Steven said, "It's me."
Teresa had very sharp eyes and a good memory.
"Do you live here, too?"
"Yes. But I rented an apartment. I'm a driver from a ride-hailing app. I occasionally work as a designated driver."
Teresa muttered a reply.
Although she remembered the driver, she didn't know him well. She had only met him by chance and said hello to him, so she didn't take the man to heart.
Hubert gave Steven a look.
Then, Steven read Hubert's mind.
Steven realized that when Hubert showed up in public later, he had to hide in case to be seen by Teresa and indirectly exposed Hubert's identity. Otherwise, he would be fired.
After returning home, Teresa sat on the swing chair on the balcony while Hubert went back to his room.
They didn't speak all night.
The next day, Teresa had just made breakfast when Hubert was about to go out.
"Mr. Donovan, you haven't eaten breakfast yet."
Hubert tugged at his tie. Then Teresa noticed that the tie he was wearing today was a gift she had bought for him yesterday.
She thought he would dislike the tie and not wear it. However, she didn't expect him to wear it today.
"I have a morning meeting today, so I can't be late. I'm afraid of traffic jams. I have to leave early. And I don't have time for breakfast at home. I've ordered a take-out to be delivered to my office."
"I've made breakfast for you, but you won't eat it. And I can't eat it all by myself. Don't order take-out. I'll pack it up for you. Then you'll take it to the office."
Hubert hesitated a little. Finally, he couldn't refuse her kind offer. And he loved the breakfast she made.
Teresa brought the thermos lunch box. She served a bowl of white porridge, picked up some side dishes, and put in four steamed buns and a poached egg. Then she closed the lid and handed the lunchbox to Hubert as she said, "Eat when you get to the office. Don't stay hungry when you're at work."
"Okay."
It was awesome for him to have a wife.
Then, Hubert went out with the thermos lunch box.
On the way back to the office, he enjoyed having the breakfast Teresa prepared for him in the car.
He enjoyed it very much and was very satisfied with it.
However, the driver and the bodyguard were a bit puzzled by this scene. Because Melissa had prepared some simple breakfast, they didn't expect someone as picky as Hubert to enjoy it so much. Maybe Melissa had excellent cooking skills.
After Hubert left, Teresa called her sister. When she knew nothing had happened to her sister, she went out too.
When she left the house, it was already rush hour. And the roads were starting to get stuck in traffic. When she drove halfway down the road, the traffic jam was getting worse and worse.
Many people who were in a hurry to get to work were so anxious that they wanted to curse.
Sophie also wanted to curse.
She quietly slipped out of the house while her brother and sister-in-law were showing PDA at breakfast. And she quietly packed breakfast for Hubert. She had particularly asked the family chef to prepare it. Then, she cut and wrapped a large bouquet of flowers in her garden.
Then she carried the breakfast with her bouquet. As soon as she left the house, she headed to the Donovan Group because she wanted to get there before Hubert returned to the office. After that, she would stop Hubert's car as usual and bring him the breakfast she had prepared for him.
Her sister-in-law even advised her to give up on Hubert, but Sophie didn't want to.

After the call, she saw a long line of vehicles moving a bit.
Sophie took the opportunity to turn the car to the side of the road and parked it in front of a store.

The traffic jam is so heavy. And I'm in a hurry."
Teresa guessed what she wanted to do when she saw her holding a bouquet of flowers and carrying a thermos lunchbox. Then she laughed and said, "Where are you going?"
"The Donovan Group."
"Come on. I'll take you there."
The Donovan Group was the company where her husband worked. And she wanted to see up close the sixty-eight-story office building, which was the landmark of the business world in Watenll City.
"Thanks."
The reason why Sophie had a good impression of Teresa was not that Teresa had agreed to give her a ride, but it was because Teresa seemed to be familiar to her. It was as if they had known each other for years.
However, Teresa was a stranger to Sophie, anyway.

Teresa took a helmet out of the trunk of her electronic bike and handed it to Sophie as she said, "Put on the helmet. In case the traffic police stop my ride."
Sophie took the helmet and put it on.
Then Teresa started her electronic bike and took Sophie to the Donovan Group on the non-motor lane.
