Chapter 1 Glad to Serve You

Chapter 1 Glad to Serve You
There were young girls in various uniform skirts everywhere in the nightclub on a special night for students. The procuress led a group of sexy and charming girls in good shape to the private VIP area on the third floor. Jane Cooper was at the end of the group.
The door guarded by bodyguards and waiters was opened. Following the line, Jane was about to enter the room, only to hear someone speaking in a cynical voice, "Do you have any rules? Bring them in without changing clothes?"
Hearing the words, everyone looked at Jane, who wore a white shirt and a pair of jeans.
Jane heard the words and looked at the place in the middle of the sofa, only to see a cut of the man's shirt and suit trousers legs. She explained, "Sorry, I have an appointment with Mr. Smith, and he told me to come here to find him."
Someone said, "Which Mr. Smith?"
Before Jane said something, the man in the middle of the sofa said with a teasing tone, "Did I hook up with her? Why don't I remember that..."
Someone smiled and teased, "Forget after hook-up, asshole."
The man laughed, "No way, more than seven times a week."
"Three minutes at a time?"
"Seven times in three minutes."
In the laughing and teasing, Jane stood still in place. Against the light, her expression couldn't be seen clearly. After they gradually stopped laughing, she said without any emotion, "I look for Mr. Smith, Edward Smith."
Suddenly, no one in the room spoke, and they kept silent. After a while, the man in the middle of the sofa looked at her and asked significantly, "You look for Mr. Smith. What is the relationship between you and him?"
Jane didn't respond to him, but a man in the booth answered in a low voice, "Do you want to know what we did in bed, too? "
The man said in an indifferent and cozy tone, but after he said, it seemed like the air was frozen so that everyone held their breath without any laughter and didn't move.
The man sitting in the middle of the sofa leaned forward and looked at the darkest place instantly, smiling obsequiously, "I'm sorry, Mr. Smith. Just kidding." Then, he picked up a glass of wine and drank it up.
The rest of the people noticed the situation, so they became extremely quiet, unlike the previous excitement.
Hearing the 'Mr. Smith', Jane followed the man's sight to look at the figure in the corner. That man completely hid his face and upper body, with only a patch of trouser leg being vaguely visible. If not for the cigarette was in the flicker, she almost didn't find there was a person sitting there.
The atmosphere was extremely cold. All people didn't dare to speak before Smith spoke. Jane slightly moved her eyes and finally set her sight in the direction of Smith. She smiled and said, "Sorry, Mr. Smith. It is my fault that I didn't see you in the dark. I will punish myself with a glass of wine to apologize."
As she spoke, she took a step forward. She just took two steps, and the man in the dark said indifferently, "Get out."
Jane stopped instantly. The first thought that came into her mind was not fear but was that she was remorseful of not entering the room.
When she was thinking about how to stay, Smith again said nonchalantly, "Look at how others are dressed. Change your clothes and come in."
Jane glanced at how those bar hostesses were dressed. They all wore student dresses, but at different times and with different styles, which could be described that each had their own character. She stood still. Just when everyone was not sure how Jane would answer, she responded, which shocked everyone.
She looked in the direction of Smith and asked plainly, "Which style does Mr. Smith like?"

Smith didn't respond immediately but smoked for a while, with the cigarette flickering in the dark. After a few seconds, he said without any emotion, which was hard to figure out whether he was happy or angry, "Just guess."
Jane said to the procuress standing aside, who dared not to breathe, "Please take me to change clothes."
The procuress couldn't wait to leave this place where she would get into trouble. She nodded and said yes.
Before Jane went out, she also nodded politely towards Smith, "Please wait for a moment, Mr. Smith."
After leaving the room, the procuress was suddenly relieved. She was so curious about and admired Cooper Jane. She would like to say a few words to Jane, but after a glance, she saw Jane's indifferent face. Jane was not the girl who was nice and capable of dealing with all men.
If Jane was not forced, she would not be tolerant and abject again and again.
Jane changed the classic student dress with white color and a blue hemline and returned to the room. She didn't know what had happened during her absence, but the atmosphere was now back to that in the beginning. On the long sofa, men and women sat together, chatting and playing.
However, this lively atmosphere had nothing to do with the man in the corner.
Jane ignored people's different sights and walked directly to Smith. They sat very close, only with a marble table between them. She could see his short haircut. She couldn't see his face clearly, and there was a high-bridged nose and deep eyes and eyebrows on his face. Even if she couldn't see his exact appearance, she could feel his strength from the clear lines of his face.
Of course, the well-known 'Black Impermanence' in S City was no milksop.
Jane smiled, "Mr. Smith..."
"You're late." Smith interrupted her.
Jane still smiled and didn't even defend herself. She said, "I will punish myself with a glass of wine."
Smith said, "One glass for one minute."
He said in a low voice with half coldness and half sarcasm. Jane's lips twitched in a weak smile, and she took out her phone after a while. She lit up the screen and said, "Twelve minutes."
Smith didn't speak. Jane glanced at the different kinds of wine bottles on the marble table and rows of arranged glasses. Those finger-high glasses were filled with liquid of different colors, which were like the carefully blended drink, or more like the perfectly proportioned poison.
Slowly squatting down, she picked up the nearest glass of wine and turned toward Smith, smiling, "Mr. Smith, I toast you."
As expected, the man on the sofa didn't even move, let alone gave a response, like a silent mockery. Jane didn't think a lot and drank it up.
The man in the dark watched the woman in front of him who was drinking in an orderly way. When she drank the seventh glass, she obviously paused for a few more seconds, but finally, she drank all up, a total of twelve glasses.
Jane got up very slowly. For one thing, she was afraid that the skirt was so short that it was easy for her to suffer a wardrobe malfunction. For another, her heartbeat was very fast after drinking twelve glasses of wine, and there was a wave of heat in her body gushing up, so she forced herself to calm down. After a while, Smith said to her, only two words, "Just sit."
Jane bypassed the table and sat next to Smith, and she was away from him by a distance of one and a half persons. Wearing a student dress the same as the nightclub bar hostess, she said without any haste, "Mr. Smith, nice to meet you. I would like to formally introduce myself. My name is Cooper Jane, graduated from Y University with a Dual Master Degree in Mathematics and Physics. Now I am a B-level tutor of Forward Education. I'm very glad to serve you."
