Chapter 16 Don't Call Me Mr. Bennington
It was getting dark, and Luke was left alone under the orange light of the streetlight. He was leaning against the lamppost and breathing out some white mist.
Natalie had gotten in a car and left.
She hastily said goodbye to him and run away with red cheeks.
The way she ran away was very cute. She had put her hands in her clothes pockets and trotted with small steps.
Luke could have pulled her back easily.
It reminded him of that night in his bedroom. After that embarrassing scene, she also ran away like this.
Thinking of this, Luke suddenly laughed.
The cool army green off-road vehicle stopped in front of him, and then the window was rolled down.
"Luke, Forrest will not dare to make trouble anymore!" Mark smiled triumphantly, glanced at him, and asked, "Where's Dr. Moore?"
Luke got into the car and said, "Mind your own business."
Mark was surprised to hear that and could not understand why Luke did not ask her out on New Year's Eve. She had just broken up with Forrest, so it was a good opportunity to chase her now!
But he didn't dare to say anything.
After driving the car out of the hospital, Mark asked, "Where are we going now? Back to the villa?"
"Where else can we go?"
"Don't you want to celebrate New Year's Eve? We can go to the top of the mountain and take a bath in the hot spring!"
Luke turned his face to the window, turning a deaf ear to his words.
Mark was a party boy in the past but had restrained himself since he had begun to work for Luke. It was New Year's Eve today, so he was itching to hang out.
"Luke, we've worked very hard recently, and we even stayed abroad for a long time to deal with that matter. It is a holiday now, so I think we should seize the chance to relax," Mark sighed. Although he knew it was of no use, he was unwilling to give up, so he said, "Mt. Waters is a good place."
Mt. Waters?
Luke squinted his eyes at him and finally responded to his words.
"Where?"
Seeing him becoming interested, Mark was overjoyed, so he said with high spirits, "Mt. Waters! But I don't know whether this snow mountain hot spring in the south is comfortable or not. Do you want to have a try?"
Luke couldn't help thinking of the scene when Natalie had been running toward those men, so he hesitated for half a minute and said lightly, "Let's go."
-
The supercars were heading in the direction of Mt. Waters.
Natalie sat quietly in the back seat, and the heating in the car was on, so she was drowsy, but when she was about to fall asleep, Luke's voice suddenly resounded in her mind, saying, "You're playing wildly."
Suddenly, she sobered up.
She didn't understand why Luke had witnessed all her most embarrassing moments. Was it fate?
She did not know how to face him in the future!
"Nata." Mia in the passenger seat suddenly turned her head back and asked, "Who was with you in the parking lot just now?"
Natalie held her breath for a second and then replied, "A patient."
"I didn't see his face clearly, but his long legs are amazing! I guess he is a handsome man!" Mia had no resistance to handsome guys, so she showed an infatuated expression.
Natalie laughed and said perfunctorily, "He is not bad."
Of course, he was handsome!
Mia said he was the most handsome man she had ever seen.
But Natalie wasn't going to tell her the man was Luke. Otherwise, Mia would ask her about what had happened to her and Luke.
But Natalie didn't know how to answer.
After he said she had a new boyfriend, her feeling for him had become a little different.
Natalie wasn't going to tell Mia about Forrest's visit either.
After all, she and Forrest had fallen out, and they would be incompatible with each other in the future, so she did not want to mention it on festive days.
After two hours, they arrived at Mt. Waters.
Natalie was uneasy at first because she had never seen these people before, although they were Mia's old friends.
Natalie was different from Mia. Mia was sunny and extroverted, while Natalie was quiet and introverted.
These men were wealthy and had different personalities, but they were all well-educated gentlemen.
Natalie was shy with strangers, so she had hardly spoken.
But they had taken the initiative to talk to her from time to time to prevent her from feeling embarrassed.
Because they talked happily on the way, Natalie quickly fitted in with them.
It was undeniable that most men liked beautiful and decent women like Natalie. Her gentleness seemed contagious, and people would talk to her tenderly for fear that loud voices would scare her no matter how hot-tempered he or she was.
But Natalie didn't know it at all.
She felt a little shy because all the men were very gentle and took care of her meticulously as if she were a princess.
Before dating Forrest, she was focusing on studying, and since she began to date him, she had deliberately kept a distance from other men.
Therefore, she never hung out with so many men before.
And it felt good.
The car ran along the mountain road for a long time. When Natalie was still in a daze, Mia suddenly exclaimed.
The man in the car smiled and reminded Natalie to look out the window.
Then, she subconsciously turned her head.
As the altitude increased, the snow on the road was getting thicker and thicker. The snow was still falling in large swaths in the night, shining in the light of the streetlamps. The forest was covered with snow, and the trees looked as beautiful as ice sculptures. The whole world turned white.
It was rare for Alcomara to have such heavy snow.
Natalie leaned over to the window and looked out of it in amazement.
Coincidentally, an off-road vehicle drove past their car now.
Through the glass, Natalie could not see it very clearly because of the snow and dim light. When she wanted to take a closer look, it had long gone.
Natalie was stunned for a while because she could not believe her eyes
...
They finally arrived at the spring hotel on the top of the mountain.
Mia had prepared everything for this trip, so Natalie didn't bring anything. After having dinner at the hotel restaurant, they took a short rest and then decided to go to the hot spring.
It was New Year's Eve, so all the rooms with a private hot spring had long been booked. Therefore, they could only go to the public hot spring. The public hot spring was not bad. It was surrounded by snow-capped mountains and was a special feature of the hotel.
But Natalie was a little shy. The long-sleeved bathing suit Mia prepared for her was conservative, but it was too tight, revealing her curvy figure.
After putting it on, Natalie was dragged out of the room by Mia after struggling for a long time.
To be honest, all the men had good appearances and figures, so when they sat in the hot spring in only swimming trunks, the picture was really pleasant

The hot spring area was misty, and Natalie was sitting in the corner of the pool, surrounded by the men. When they were chatting and laughing, she felt so embarrassed that she wanted to stick her head into the water.
And she suddenly understood those women who had a lot of lovers.
When many naked handsome men smiled gently at a woman, it would be very hard for her to control herself.
Natalie thought if she stayed here any longer, she would become a bad woman.
Therefore, after a short while, she made an excuse that she could not bear the heat anymore and then went to the glasshouse to rest.
The glasshouse was next to the hot spring, which was a house with 360-degree panoramic view windows. Some guests of the hotel were taking a break or enjoying the scenery here.
It had two floors, and the first floor was an entertainment and leisure area with a steam room and a sauna room, so there were many people.
Natalie wanted quietness, so she walked upstairs with a bath towel on her shoulders.
There was a white piano on the second floor. Pink roses were planted in the aisle, and two sand chairs were put beside the floor-to-ceiling windows, where she could watch the snow falling outside.
The light inside was dim and yellow, making the atmosphere warm and romantic.
She had been working hard in the hospital for a long time, so she couldn't refuse such a comfortable environment, and she liked this place at the first sight.
But when she happily went over, she found out a man who was wearing the bathrobe of the hotel had occupied one sand chair.
Natalie was standing at the back, so she could not see his face, but she could see he was sitting cross-legged and beating time with one foot.
That gesture looked lazy and arrogant, and she found it kind of familiar.
But she didn't think too much about it. She was afraid that she would disturb him, so she asked politely in a soft voice, "Excuse me, is this chair taken?"
The man didn't answer her question.
After about eight seconds, when Natalie wanted to ask again, she suddenly heard the man laugh.
This extremely familiar voice made her heart skip a beat, and a lot of thoughts suddenly popped into her mind.
Soon, the man said in a hoarse voice, "You can use it."
Natalie froze in place, and her heart was racing.
The man finally lifted his head that had been rested on the pillow, turned his face to her, opened his sleepy eyes, and looked at her with a half-smile, saying, "Why are you standing still?"
Looking at his pretty dark eyes and handsome face, Natalie did not come back to her senses until a long time later.
It turned out that she had seen it right! The off-road vehicle she saw on the way was his.
She was shocked, and after a long time, she finally asked with difficulty, "Why are you here?"
Luke didn't speak. He glanced downstairs, looked into her eyes with a meaningful smile, and said, "Only you and your handsome friends can come here? Can't I come?"
Following his peculiar gaze, Natalie suddenly found the field of vision here was so far and wide that people could see the public hot spring.
So, had he seen her and a group of men taking a bath together?
Natalie's heart began to race again.
"Nata." Suddenly, a gentle voice came from the door.
Natalie looked back and saw the gentle and elegant man named Kingsley walking over, who had come here in the same car with her.
"It turns out you're here. I looked for you everywhere." Kingsley smiled and handed her a cup of coffee, saying, "We're going to set off fireworks at zero o'clock. Remember to go downstairs after you have a rest."
Natalie took the coffee over, nodded, and said gently, "Thank you, Kingsley."
Luke impatiently tapped his left foot on the floor, looking arrogant and surly.
Natalie somehow didn't dare to say anything.
Kingsley noticed there was a man on the chair, so he asked Natalie, "Do you know him?"
Natalie hesitated for a while to weigh her words and replied in a low voice, "Yes, but we're not very close."
Kingsley smiled and didn't ask further.
After telling Natalie to call him if she needed his help, he left.
Then, Luke laughed lazily, "How many men are there in total?"
Natalie bit her lip. When she was hesitating whether to explain it to him, the coffee in her hand was suddenly snatched away.
Luke took a sip, threw the cup on the round table, and said expressionlessly, "What is this? It tastes terrible!"
After the coffee had been taken away, Natalie was dumbfounded, wondering why he had always been so self-righteous and arrogant like an emperor.
Her cheeks puffed in anger, and she said in a low voice, "That's my coffee."
"Didn't you say you will invite me to dinner? I just took a cup of coffee first," Luke said casually.
Natalie was speechless, inwardly blaming him for snatching her coffee.
But she didn't dare to voice out her discontent, so she nodded silently.
Luke raised his eyes to look at her.
She had just come out of the hot spring, so her face was pink. Her skin was tender, and the little red mole on her nose made her look very pure. There were a few strands of wet hair sticking to her long neck. Her bathing suit was covered by a white bath towel, and only a short piece of skirt hem was revealed. And when he continued to look down, he saw her straight and slender white legs.
She looked pure instead of sexy but was very attractive.
After a moment, Luke looked away casually and said, "I haven't eaten dinner yet, and I'm very hungry now."
Natalie pursed her lips because she was secretly angry with him.
She said, "Really? I ate a lot during dinner just now."
Luke was speechless.
Suddenly, he burst into laughter, patted the chair beside him, and said, "Sit down. The floor is slippery."
Although Natalie was reluctant, she didn't want to stand there all the time, so she trotted over with small steps and sat down.
She deliberately avoided his eyes and said, "Mr. Bennington, what do you want to say?"
Luke was still lying on his back lazily, secretly pondering over the current "Mr. Bennington" and the previous "not very close".
After a while, he said, "Repeat after me."
Natalie cast a suspicious glance at him.
"Luke," he enunciated clearly.
Natalie was confused, but he looked serious, so she hesitated and said, "Luke."
"Bennington."
She felt something was wrong, so she said slowly, "Bennington."
Luke's expression became frivolous again, and he smiled with satisfaction, "Put them together."
She opened her mouth and said, "Luke..."
After hesitating for a long time, the second word was still stuck in her mouth. Natalie couldn't voice it out, so she pursed her lips and said, "Mr. Bennington."
This was quite smooth.
Luke was speechless. He crooked his fingers, flicked her smooth forehead gently, and said, "Don't call me Mr. Bennington anymore."
"Ouch!" Because of the sudden pain, Natalie covered her forehead, glared at him, and said, "I just want to be polite."
Her tone was annoyed but timid.
Luke put his elbows on his knees, sat up, tilted his head, and slowly asked, "How did you call me just now?"
