Chapter 57 Kiss Me Right Now!

Chapter 57 Kiss Me Right Now!
After Luke coaxed her for about an hour, promised he would not do it again, and asked her to scold him, Natalie fell asleep while sobbing.
He was too angry, so he said harsh words to her, which made her cry.
Luke was at the airport and preparing to board the plane now. When he couldn't reach her on the phone, he asked his assistant to book the earliest flight to Wolsher.
The Selby family was powerful in Bostabaca, so he contacted Baildie and asked him to help look for Natalie.
He did not expect that she fell asleep because she got drunk.
When she was in Alcomara, he told her she was not allowed drink alcohol, and he reminded her before she went to the party, so he flew into a rage just now.
In the VIP lounge of Athana Airport.
After Luke hung up the phone, his assistant asked if he still wanted to go to Wolsher and reminded him that his schedule was very tight.
Feeling relieved, Luke leaned on the back of the sofa, looked at the luxurious chandelier, and fell into contemplation.
...
As soon as Natalie fell asleep, the doorbell of her dormitory rang.
It was Sarah who went to open the door. She was brushing her teeth, so her mouth was full of white foam. When the door opened, she saw a young man in a suit.
The man was good-looking, and he asked, "Excuse me, is Miss Moore here?"
When Sarah saw a handsome guy, her blue eyes began to shine with excitement.
"I'm Mr. Selby's assistant." The man took out a business card from the pocket of his coat, handed it to her, and said meticulously, "We need to ensure the safety of Miss Moore. Please tell me whether she is OK."
Baildie Selby? The president of the Selby Group?
Sarah took a deep breath and swallowed all the toothpaste in her mouth, replying, "She, she is asleep."
After confirming that Natalie was okay, the man politely said goodbye and left.
The next day, when Natalie woke up, Sarah blocked her way at the door and asked her about her relationship with Baildie.
Natalie looked at her sleepily with messy hair and replied in a daze, "I don't know him."
Sarah didn't believe it, so she told her Baildie's assistant had come last night. She asked Natalie to honestly confess whether she was dating that big shot and blamed her for keeping it secret for so long.
Natalie was surprised to hear that. But after remembering that Luke was very anxious last night, she guessed the reason and said, "My boyfriend mistakenly thought I had an accident last night... They are friends."
Sarah widened her eyes in disbelief, and then she asked who her boyfriend was.
After Natalie and Sarah finished analyzing the medical data under the tutelage of Mateo that day, they were so hungry that they saw the stars.
At noon, they walked out of the institute and headed for a shopping mall nearby to have a meal to replenish their energy.
Natalie got a call from Luke when Sarah was complaining that she would die young if she went on working like this.
Although he scolded her last night, it was because he cared for her. She thought she was also to be blamed because she promised him that she would not drink alcohol.
So, she kept docile on the phone. When Luke asked what she was doing, she answered obediently that she was going to have lunch with Sarah.
With some unusual laziness in his voice, he said, "Stop walking, Nata."
She was confused to hear that, so she asked why.
Luke on the other end of the phone suddenly said lightly, "If you keep walking forward, you will be farther away from me."
Although she couldn't understand his words, she couldn't help slowing down her steps.
And then, he slowly said in a low voice, "Turn back."
Natalie was stunned for a moment and paused her steps. Her heart began to race because she was afraid she thought it was wrong.
After three seconds of silence, she suddenly looked back.
On both sides of the road were retro-style buildings, and in front of the semi-circular arch, there was a black car.
Across the endless stream of vehicles and pedestrians, their eyes met. Luke put his hands in his pockets, leaned lazily on the car, and looked at her from a distance.
Seeing him, she was overjoyed. Natalie did not expect to meet him on the street of this foreign country today, so she was caught off guard.
She was so rapturous that she immediately ran toward him.
It was the first time she felt dozens of feet was so far away. While she was rushing with all her might, Luke opened his arms. When she slammed herself into his arms, he hugged her firmly.
They had not seen each other for more than half a year.
Natalie rubbed her face against his chest like a clingy cat. When she felt his body temperature through the thin clothes, she said coquettishly, "Luke..."
Luke lowered his head and kissed her hair.
After being in his arms for a while, she raised her head and said softly, "Why are you here?"
He looked at her and said, "I was waiting for your morning class to end."
When Natalie heard this, her eyes suddenly turned red. She wrapped her arms around her waist and raised her face, saying "Why didn't you inform me in advance? "
Luke lowered his head and looked into her eyes.
After pushing the hair on her temples back, he took a closer look at his girlfriend whom he hadn't seen for a long time. Her skin was still fair and smooth, but she lost some weight, and her hair grew a little longer. She was wearing light pink clothes which felt fluffy.
"I made you cry last night, so I came here to apologize." While speaking, he stared at her, wanting to see her more.
Natalie was also staring at him. They suddenly stopped talking and just stared at each other quietly.
He came to meet her suddenly, so he must have decided on impulse.
Natalie guessed he couldn't stay for a long time, so she asked softly, "How long are you staying?"
"I came to Wolsher ahead of schedule." When Luke looked at her rosy lips, he wanted to kiss her. But she would live here for another two years, and if they were seen by her classmates or teachers, she would feel embarrassed, so he gave up the idea.
He went to the branch office here and dealt with some business affairs before coming to wait for her, and he had to rush back to Athana as soon as possible, so he couldn't stay here for a long time.
He pressed her lips, rubbed them with his finger, and said, "Only two more hours."
Natalie did not feel disappointed but felt grateful to have two hours.
And her lunch break was about two hours.
She gently squeezed his finger on her lip and said, "Wait a minute."
She called Sarah, who was still waiting on the other side of the road, and told her that she couldn't have lunch with her because her boyfriend had come.
At noon, Luke took Natalie to the restaurant she had always wanted to try but couldn't book a table. Because he was by her side, she felt that it was the tastiest meal she had since she came to Wolsher.
They could not do a lot of things within two hours. After lunch, they went to the retro-style street and took a walk hand in hand in the pink and white world of cherry blossoms.
Natalie smiled because she could finally admire cherry blossoms together with Luke.
There were also many couples on the street today.
"Luke!" Natalie suddenly said.
When Luke looked back and met her eyes, he found there seemed to be clear water flowing in her pupils, sparkling in the sunlight.
She said, "Kiss me right there."
Hearing this, he suddenly perked up like a lion who had been hibernating for a long time. After a short pause, he took her arm and picked her up without hesitation. After sitting on the bench behind him, he put her on his lap and hugged her tightly.
His hot breath scalded her ear, and he said in a hoarse voice, "Nata, I can't leave if you act like this."
"Didn't you want to kiss me just now?" Natalie was straddling his lap. The look in her eyes was shy, but she said with affection, "There are so many couples here, so others will not pay special attention to us."
Luke stared at her and suddenly realized it was no accident that he had fallen in love with her. There was a reason that he liked her, so he did not get together with her on a whim. As long as he met her, he would have feelings for her.
He put his palm on the back of her head and kissed her without hesitation. Her tenderness brought out the memories of his body, so he opened his lips to look for her tongue and stuck his fingers into her hair.
Natalie wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed back with her eyes closed, trying to keep up with his rhythm.
In the street, the petals of the cherry blossoms were scattered all over the ground. When they kissed fiercely on the bench, a gust of spring wind blew over, and the petals on the trees fell leisurely like snow.
Luke was like a monk who had given up keeping religious precepts. He kissed her so violently as if intending to merge her into his body.
Before leaving, he pressed her against the car and kissed her for a long time.
When Natalie met Sarah again, her lips were bright red because Luke sucked them hard and broke her lower lip.
Sarah had rich experience, so she knew what happened at glance. She exclaimed that she envied her tall, handsome, and lustful boyfriend but said that he should have been gentler.
Natalie blushed for a long time that afternoon.
Sarah felt Natalie's boyfriend was not simple and kept asking about him. Natalie had not intended to tell others about Luke because she wanted to keep a low profile. But a few days later, someone posted some pictures of Luke pressing her against the car and kissing her.
"Luke and his girlfriend were kissing on the street " became a trending topic on both Facebook and Twitter.
Therefore, their romance became well-known at home and abroad.
Fortunately, Natalie was pressed down by Luke in the pictures, so her face was not exposed. Except for Sarah who was in the know, no one else around recognized her.
Sarah was so shocked when seeing the trending topic. She shook Natalie's shoulders frantically in the dormitory and shouted, "Nata, you are dating a big shot!"
When talking with Luke at night, Natalie lay on her side under the covers, held the phone to her ear, and coquettishly complained, "It was all your fault! There were so many people, but you..."
Luke said, "Didn't you ask me to kiss you?"
Natalie refused to admit it and said, "I didn't ask you to do it..."
Luke just woke up, so his voice was hoarse, and he suddenly asked, "Baby, are you sleepy?"
"I am not sleepy." Natalie didn't realize his motive, so she bit the hook and replied, "We can talk for a while."
Luke was still lying on the bed, and he ambiguously said in a deep voice, "I want it."
"What?" Natalie asked subconsciously, resting her head on her pillow.
Her naive tone amused Luke, so he lowered his voice and slowly said on the phone, "I want you to hear my gasps."
Natalie suddenly realized what he meant, so her face flushed, and she shyly muttered, "You're shameless."
"Why can't I be shameless in front of my girlfriend?" he asked slowly.
Natalie was speechless.
Natalie blushed and held her breath when hear the low and sensual voice on the other end of the phone.
But he still asked her to say something shameful in a hoarse voice, so she blushed so much that her cheeks began burning. She failed to refuse, so she buried herself in the covers and repeated those shameful words in a faint voice while biting her low lip.
Natalie kept talking softly with him on the phone for the following few days because she was still embarrassed about what she said that night.
But Luke was satisfied like a wily old fox.
-
During the first two years in Wolsher, Natalie met Luke several times although he did not stay long in Wolsher each time.
The longest time was the Christmas holiday one year. He stayed with her until New Year's Day.
That year, her Christmas present was a pair of diamond earrings worth tens of millions of dollars. Natalie liked it very much, but it was too expensive.
That night, Natalie stood in front of the Christmas tree with twinkling lights and complained, "Why are you so prodigal? You should not have so much money."
Luke reached out to rub her pierced ears and smiled, "You pierced your ears for me, so I must be responsible and buy more earrings for them."
Gradually, Natalie's earrings piled up into a hill.
Sometimes, Luke informed Natalie before he was going to visit her and told her how long he would stay, but sometimes, he appeared all of a sudden. For example, if he was on a business trip in Cardiff and had time after finishing his work, he would rush to Wolsher to meet her at the last minute.
The winter in Wolsher was much colder than that in Athana, and she received his call at noon on a late winter night in the coldest month.
He said, "I'm waiting downstairs and will have to leave in half an hour.
Natalie ran out a few minutes later wearing a scarf.
In the empty street, snow was floating in the air. He was standing under a streetlamp and surrounded by the orange light. When he exhaled, there was a cloud of white mist.
Natalie quickly ran over to hug him. Feeling the chill from his body, she hurriedly took off her scarf and wrapped it around his neck. When she raised her eyes, she found that his lips were a little dry and cracked.
In an instant, her eyes were moist.

"What did you travel all the way here if you have only half an hour?" Natalie beat his arm, held his hands, rubbed them to warm them up, and said in a choked voice, "Why are you wearing such thin clothes? Don't you feel cold?"
Luke didn't mind the cold at all. He hooked around Natalie's waist with his arms, pressed his cold lips against her ear, and said lightly, "Because I miss you."
"There is still a year and a half left. Time goes too slow." He hugged her tightly, and his hot breath was sprayed on her neck.
Hearing his words, Natalie felt very moved, and when she blinked, her tears ran down her neckline.
Even though he could stay for only half an hour, she did not want him to endure the cold, so she brought him back to her dormitory, and then, they quietly entered her bedroom where the heating was on.
Natalie closed the door lightly, put one finger in front of her lips, and said, "The wall was not soundproof, so we must keep our voices low."
She was wearing a ponytail and fluffy pink pajamas with bunny ears dangling from the pocket on each side.
After she finished speaking, she winked at him slyly.
Luke thought she must be the cutest girl in the world, so he bent over, lowered his head, and kissed her lips possessively.
The lips that had become cold because of the chilly wind in the winter night finally warmed up when during the kiss.
And then, he pushed her onto the soft bed.
-
When they could only see each other every few months, Natalie thought the situation couldn't get any worse.
However, in the third year, she and Sarah received a clinical research project on bone tumors, and Mateo would personally lead them to conduct research.
It was very important because it was related to the level of their graduation certificate and various honors.
Therefore, Natalie was busy dealing with all kinds of data day and night and often spent all night in the laboratory, so she had very little time to chat with Luke now.
Luke was also busy.
A senior executive of the Bennington Group defected and leaked a lot of confidential documents of the company. The certain shareholder who had been caught was just a scapegoat, and the man behind the scenes had played his cards very well without leaving any clue.
Although Luke didn't complain about it on the phone, Natalie could sense the seriousness of the matter.
In the spring of the third year, both of them were fully occupied by their own business, so they did not see each other for the whole season.
One day, when Natalie called Luke during her lunch break, it was Mark who answered the call.
He told her on the phone that Luke was sick and had been put on a drip.
It was the first time Natalie had heard Luke got sick since they had started dating, so she anxiously asked if he was okay.
Mark helplessly replied, "Luke has been working too hard for the past few months. He has barely slept and has lived in the office. We all persuaded him to take it easy, but he said he must settle the internal affairs of the company down before you come back. Otherwise, he would not have time to accompany you..."
Natalie held the phone to her ear, crouched under a redwood tree in the research institute, and cried uncontrollably.
Suddenly, she wanted to meet him very much.
She sincerely asked Mateo for a leave. Of course, she knew her absence would directly affect the progress of the project, so she only asked for one day's leave. After thinking for a while, Mateo agreed.
On the same day, Natalie booked the air ticket back to Athana.
When she arrived, it was late at night.
There were billboards everywhere in the airport. Natalie paused for two seconds when she saw the standing sign of Jepson Lever, and then she quickly walked out.
When she set foot in Athana again, she felt very unfamiliar.
She did not think of her painful childhood at all because she was worried about Luke all the time.
Mark picked her up and drove her to the headquarters of the Bennington Group. On the way, he told her that Charlie had seen Luke and asked her not to feel worried. When they walked into the office, Mark pointed to a room inside and said, "Natalie, Luke is in the bedroom, and he should be asleep now. Please go in. "
Natalie gently pushed the door open and went inside.
The bedroom was dark. Because the curtains were not closed, the neon light came in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, bringing in a faint brightness.
Luke was lying on the sofa instead of the bed with a pale face and a frown, looking somewhat weak.
Natalie walked over without making a sound and slowly squatted beside him. She put her fingertips on his forehead. He did not have a fever, so she breathed a sigh of relief and touched his hair lightly.
She had never seen him so weak before. Even when he was hospitalized after the car accident, he looked tough and fearless.
Tears welled up in her eyes, and she felt heartbroken as if someone stabbed her in the heart.
Natalie experienced how Luke felt whenever he traveled across the sea to meet her for the past two years because he couldn't stay long either.
Luke was sleeping soundly due to his illness. Natalie picked up the quilt on the bed and tucked him in. There was a small kitchen, so she cooked some porridge for him.
After going back to the sofa, she lowered her head and kissed the corner of his lips lightly.
She had to take off now. She had only one day off, so she couldn't afford any delay.
When Luke woke up in the early morning, Natalie was on the flight back to Wolsher. After Mark told him that she had come, Luke was so shocked that he immediately called her.
But her flight didn't offer communication service to passengers, so he failed to reach her.
Natalie called him back after getting off the plane at noon the next day. Luke asked why she did not wake him up.
Natalie didn't answer but asked lightly, "Are you feeling better now?"
"I'm okay. It's not serious." Her voice was hoarse, but his tone sounded as if nothing happened.
On the subway to the institute, Natalie held back her tears and repeatedly asked him to take good care of himself.
Luke agreed obediently.
"I made some porridge for you. It is in the pot. Remember to have it," Natalie said gently.
He answered obediently, "I will. Thank you."
-
After that, Natalie devoted herself to the research project because she wanted to get the certificate from the research institute and reunite with Luke in Athana as soon as possible.
God helped those who helped themselves. After they failed hundreds of times, the project that was originally scheduled to be completed at the end of October was completed at the beginning of September.
Then, Natalie and Sarah began to develop a new anti-bone-tumor drug together with Mateo, which was certified by a professional institute at the end of September.
The research result won an important award from a world-renowned professional organization.
On the day of winning the award, Mateo, Sarah and Natalie were so overjoyed that they hugged and cried.
This meant that her and Sarah's three-year study life at the Wolsher Medical Life Research Institute came to a complete end.
It was supposed to end in October, but they finished it ahead of time. Natalie didn't tell Luke about it because she wanted to surprise him.
The three-year study life made Natalie reluctant to part with Sarah and Mateo at the farewell banquet, and she promised she would show Mateo around when he went to Estain.
After the last night in Wolsher, Natalie and Sarah parted at the airport. Sarah hugged her and said, "Nata, I wish you a bright future."
Natalie replied, "The same to you."
She flew back to Alcomara instead of Athana because she was a grateful person and wanted to thank Mr. Atkinson first when returning after finishing school.
Two days ago, when Mia learned that Natalie was coming back, she screamed on the phone. Later, she hired people to clean up her apartment in Clovervale Residence which was emptied for three years.
At 8 p.m., Natalie arrived at Alcomara Airport. When she landed, the scene of Luke sending her away three years ago popped into her mind.
At that time, he asked her not to look back.
They both knew the second half of the sentence, but neither of them said it out.
"Don't look back. If you look back, you will cry, and it's not cool to cry while parting."
The scene was still vivid in her mind, but after thinking about it for a while, she felt as if a century had passed.
She was finally back.
Mia picked her up at Alcomara Airport. They hugged and cried as soon as they met. After sitting in the car, they began to count the changes in each other after three years. They chatted and laughed happily as if they had never parted.
"Nata, there will be a typhoon tomorrow, and it is expected to land at 8 p.m. Stay at home. I heard it will be a super typhoon, and the maximum wind speed will be over level 16!" Mia reminded her as driving her car.
Natalie was stunned for a while. Looking at the swaying tree outside the window, she gradually realized the current situation and said, "No wonder Alcomara is so windy now."
After living in a foreign country for a long time, she forgot to pay attention to the weather in Alcomara.
Back at Clovervale Residence, Natalie was surprised that Mia even helped her pay for television service.
After turning on the TV and choosing a channel casually, she nestled on the sofa and started booking the air ticket. She thought she must get to Athana before the typhoon struck, otherwise, all the flights would be canceled, and she would have to wait for at least two days before leaving.
She booked a flight at 3 p.m. tomorrow. Judging from the current situation, she thought it would depart on time
Suddenly, the hostess of the news channel articulately said, "The executive who defected from the Bennington Group one year ago was exposed... The three-year infighting of the Bennington Group ended..."
Natalie paused her actions and raised her eyes.
Outside the window, the wind was roaring. She did not turn on the lights of the living room, so only the TV was shining brightly in the dark at night.
The three-year infighting of the Bennington Group ended
Repeating this sentence, Natalie beamed with joy.
The next day, after she went to the hospital to meet Mr. Atkinson and had lunch with Mia, she went to the airport with her luggage.
She was very happy when boarding the flight.
When she arrived at Athana around 5 p.m., she pulled her luggage out of the airport and called Luke.
Unexpectedly, she failed to get through.
When she decided to try again later, Luke soon called back.
She said sweetly with her eyes full of joy, "Luke! I'm at Athana Airport! Come and pick me up!"
After finishing speaking, she waited for his surprised reaction.
But Luke fell silent.
After a moment, he sighed helplessly, "Why didn't you tell me you came back ahead of time? Why did you leave Alcomara so fast? Are you deliberately torturing me?"
"I just wanted to surprise you..." Natalie muttered while sitting on her suitcase. Looking at the darkening sky, she asked, "Don't you have time to pick me up?"
"No, I have time."
Why didn't he sound excited when hearing she was back?
Natalie complained, "Come here as soon as possible. I'm hungry."
Now, Luke was looking at the trees that bent and twisted from the wind outside the window while sitting in his military green off-road vehicle. Hearing her words, he looked up at her apartment in Clovervale Residence which he had not visited for 3 years, and then he sighed heavily, "I'm at your downstairs."
Natalie kept silent for a long time on the phone, and then she asked in disbelief, "Clovervale Residence? Did you go to Alcomara?"
"Yes."
She suddenly became anxious and asked, "Why did you go to Alcomara?"
"My assistant noticed your flight and told me you're back in Alcomara." Luke didn't know what else to say now. He was eager to see her and also wanted to surprise her.
Unexpectedly, both of them had the same thought, so they had gone to each other's city.
"So, you went there to meet me?" Natalie was so angry that she almost cried, and she scolded, "You're a fool!"
Luke smiled helplessly. He scratched his hair and sighed, "Wait for me. I will go back right now."
"Don't do it!" Natalie hurriedly said, "The typhoon is about to land, and all the flights will be canceled. It's very dangerous outside."
Luke put his hand on the steering wheel, listened to the howling of the wind outside, and fell silent.
Natalie calmed down and accepted the reality, so she said softly, "Go upstairs. My apartment is very clean, and there is a blanket and sheets in the wardrobe. You will live in my home and come back when the typhoon is gone. And I'll be waiting for you at a hotel nearby."
Luke thought for a moment, "It's not safe for you to stay in the hotel alone. I'll ask my subordinate to pick you up. I have a quadrangle courtyard nearby."
"OK," Natalie responded sweetly, urging, "Go upstairs quickly! Don't stay outside."
Luke replied, "OK."
He parked the car in the garage, went upstairs, and unlocked the door with his fingerprint. Seeing the familiar apartment, he remembered many things between them that had happened here three years ago, so he could not help smiling.
Entering her bedroom, he took the blanket and sheets out of the wardrobe and made the bed as she had required.
After the wardrobe was opened, he saw a familiar blue and white school uniform hanging quietly in front of him.
Luke paused for a moment and smiled with affection in his eyes.
When he grabbed the school uniform over, he saw the words "Athana Cody School" on the chest.
One cuff of the school uniform had an "M" written by a marker.
After many years, there was still a faint trace left.
