Chapter 46 I Can Help You

Chapter 46 I Can Help You
His voice was very low, and his eyes were fixed on hers. The implied meaning in his voice was so obvious.
Natalie's thoughts were slowed down by the alcohol, but subconsciously she seemed to have an instinctive reaction. Before she could understand it, her heart was racing.
Holding her breath, she slowly turned around and sat upright, biting her lower lip and staring at her fingers.
In a daze, she thought of what she often saw in TV romantic dramas. The hero and heroine got drunk and had sex... It was very similar to their current situation.
Natalie dodged him. She blushed immediately and didn't dare to look at him.
Luke suddenly wanted to laugh.
Every time she teased him first but hesitated in the end. He had to suppress his urge.
Strangely, he was not a gentleman and she was surprised that he could be so patient with a girl.
At first, Luke thought he should just do it. It was not his first time after all. But he was a man and he shouldn't take advantage of a drunken girl. It was not the right thing to do for a man.
But it was really hard to deal with her in a half-drunk state.
Back at his villa at Lithern Club, Luke carried her into the bedroom and put her on his bed. When he was about to get up, she didn't let him go.
Holding his forearm, she softly asked him to stay.
Luke was tempted. She was seducing him.
"Want me to stay?" Luke looked down at her with his hands on each side of the pillow.
Natalie lay flat, whispering, "Yes..."
Luke chuckled hoarsely and lightly gave her a peck. He said in a low voice, "Take off your dress."
Natalie felt his warm breath and got excited.
He held her belt, played with it with his fingertips, and whispered, "Take it off and I will stay."
One thing led to another.
He raised his eyes and smiled, looking like a bad boy.
Natalie stared at him blankly. She drifted in and out of consciousness. She thought, "If they did something, it didn't seem to matter..." But the second she was sober, she was instantly surprised by her thoughts.
The weather in June in Alcomara was good. When the sunlight shone through the floor-to-ceiling windows, it felt so warm.
Luke watched her and held his breath, waiting quietly for her response.
Natalie slowly calmed down. Her face flushed, and she finally whispered, "It can only be... my dress."
Luke was just trying to frighten her on purpose. If he said something indecent, she would probably be so ashamed that she would climb into bed and settle down to take a nap.
But unexpectedly, she agreed.
Luke was stunned for a moment. After taking a deep breath, he laughed. Without hesitation, he simply untied her belt, threw it by the pillow, and threw himself under the blanket.
She quickly took off her dress and threw it away.
The temperature in early summer did not require a blanket.
But Natalie still wrapped herself in the blanket and buried her face in his chest. She couldn't tell if she was blushing or if his body was so warm.
"Show me." Luke wanted to push her away, but she hugged him so tightly. She was shy even when she was drunk, and she wouldn't let go of her arms around his waist.
He smiled and looked down.
She was wearing a white lace bra. It looked very soft and pretty.
Luke took a deep breath and slowed down a bit, "You're so bad at drinking. Don't drink ever again when I'm not around."
It was dizzyingly hot, and Natalie blushed and said nothing.
"Did you hear it?" He murmured, squeezing her punishingly.
It was only then that she answered with a sigh.
It was impossible to let him do nothing while holding her. His fingertips were roaming around gently, but he didn't go too far. He did not take off her bra.
Listening to his heartbeat, she gradually dozed off.
Luke got off the bed, walked to the bathroom, and unbuttoned his sweaty shirt.
When Natalie opened her eyes, the sun was setting and the bedroom was still lit.
The glass door on the balcony was half open, and the evening breeze was refreshing.
She sat up slowly.
The curtains were blowing in the wind. She saw him smoking on the balcony.
Telepathy was a bit of a mystery. He happened to turn back and meet her eyes.
His smile was very nice. The profile of his side face was perfect like someone in a painting.
Suddenly, Natalie felt incredible. The allegedly rebellious Luke Bennington was now her boyfriend... At that moment, she even thought that she was dreaming.
When she was in a daze, Luke walked to her.
Before Natalie could react, he held her head and said nothing, leaning over to kiss her lips.
It was a tender kiss.
Natalie closed her eyes. She felt dizzy again when she tasted the smell of his cigarette on the tip of his tongue.
Finally, he kissed her lower lip to end the kiss.
Luke was still leaning over the bed. When she opened her eyes, she looked at him, feeling a little dazed.
He smiled, "Are you sober?"
He changed into a black shirt and only buttoned it at the bottom. When he was leaning over, she could see his abs.
She turned her face away shyly.
Her lace shoulder strap on one side was slipping off her arm.
Luke remembered that he was the one who did it to... He smiled.
Seeing his meaningful smile, Natalie suddenly came back to her senses. She glanced at the blanket, only to find that her dress was gone.
She vaguely remembered what happened before going to bed.
After a brief moment of surprise, Natalie suddenly pulled the blanket over her shoulders and adjusted her shoulder strap with a blushing face, "... Turn around."
Why didn't she allow him to see it? Luke raised his eyebrows lightly and turned around obediently.
Natalie looked at him again and muttered, "Don't peek."
"OK." He agreed casually.
Natalie hurriedly put her dress back on and complained secretly: what a dangerous man! She would wear jeans next time.
Well, she should blame herself for being drunk and having weak willpower, so she couldn't resist the temptation... But he was so tempting!
She blushed and fastened her belt on.
Both of them were quiet. When she was putting on her dress, the rustling sound of the fabric was very clear.
Luke stood with his back against her, staring at the sky outside while listening to the movement behind him. He suddenly said, "Would you like to follow me to Athana?"
Natalie paused and held her breath.

She slowly lowered his eyes, and did not answer. Her eyes darkened and she did not expect to face this problem so soon.
Natalie did think about it. After being with him, she thought about it many times.
She could go to Athana to be with him.
But so far, it seemed that she didn't dare to go to Athana.
It had taken much courage for her to study at Athana for her mother.
He didn't get a response after a long time, but he didn't rush to ask, and just stood there quietly.
He always remembered what Forrest said to Natalie that day at Syphrett Garden. Could she return to Athana for him? Did she think they were going somewhere?
Luke didn't know what she had gone through. The only thing he knew for sure was that she disliked Athana very much.
He was asking her not only because he wanted to see her every day, but he wanted to know if she could do it for him.
It was a pity that at the end she only said softly, "Let me think about it."
It was not a perfunctory answer.
After that day, Natalie thought about it very seriously, but it was such a difficult decision.
Since that day, their Instagram or phone chats had become less, not because they had contradictions, but because the doctor's intermediate professional title exam was coming up. In previous years, it took place in April and May, but this year it was delayed for some unknown reason.
In late June, Natalie was busy preparing for the exam, and Luke was paid less attention.
On the day of the exam, someone sent Natalie a box of pomegranates, and there was a letter in the courier box.
After reading the letter, Natalie found out that the sender was the middle-aged woman who had thrown water at her.
Strictly speaking, the thank-you letter was probably ghostwritten by someone, and the letter told the whole story. In the middle of last year, her husband passed away due to asthma. Noah used money and a house to settle the case out of court. She was forced to accept it.
At the beginning of the year, they went to the court, and Noah knew about it. To shut her up, he kidnapped her son in elementary school one night. Fortunately, Luke's men rescued him.
This incident made her realize that she shouldn't take the money for the sake of her son.
This lawsuit had been going on for nearly half a year and Luke had given her a lot of help. After the end of the trial, he even found her a job so that she could return to her hometown to live in peace. She was very grateful for that.
The woman said in the letter, "Last month's mangoes were very good. I wanted to send them to Mr. Bennington, but he said that his girlfriend was allergic to them. So I had to wait for the pomegranates to ripen before sending them... I'm sorry, young girl. You are such good people, but I hurt you..."
After reading the letter, Natalie was touched.
She was glad that she was missed by someone and the problem was settled.
Natalie smiled at the thought.
It was already dark and she was sitting in the living room in a suspender nightdress. The cicadas were chirping outside on a summer night.
Next to the box of pomegranates on the coffee table, her dog wagged its tail and kept sniffing it. Natalie watched it for a while and then called Luke.
He always answered her calls so quickly.
In just a few seconds, Natalie heard his voice. He sighed lightly and complained, "You finally remember me, right?"
She was busy with her exams, and they didn't see each other for half a month.
They didn't have much time to see each other. When he said this, Natalie felt guilty and murmured, "... I just finished the exam today."
Luke snorted, "How was it?"
She was pretty optimistic. After all, she was preparing for a long time. After she answered, she asked carefully, "Are you free tomorrow?"
"What?" He asked knowingly.
Natalie wanted to say that she missed him. But after she thought about it, she changed her mind, "That lady sent a big box of pomegranates..."
Luke, on the other end of the phone, smiled softly and said, "I asked her to send it to my girlfriend."
Hearing him call her my girlfriend, she smiled silently.
Falling in love with Luke was a very intoxicating thing, and she had never felt this way when she was with Forrest.
"There are too many..." Natalie's voice softened, "I can't finish them myself."
Sometimes he could be naughty. He knew what she meant, but he just said, "Then what do you want me to do? How could I know if you don't tell me?"
Natalie pouted, but she missed him too much. She said in a low voice, "I want you to come over tomorrow."
"Tomorrow..." He pretended to hesitate.
Natalie frowned. When she was just about to scold him, Luke smiled first and said softly, "Alright."
Natalie froze.
Three hours later, he arrived downstairs.
He stepped out of the car, leaned against the car lazily, and looked at her with a doting smile.
At that moment, Natalie's eyes lit.
After her mother passed away, she had never thought that anyone in this world would care about her so much. She wasn't sure if it was love.
But she knew that she liked him.
She liked the fact that he always came to see her no matter how far away he was. He was so tender.
How could she give up her future with him?
In the bright car light on a summer night, Natalie took the initiative to run and threw herself into his arms.
Luke laughed and hugged her firmly the moment she rushed towards him. He lowered her head to kiss her ear, and said, "I missed you so badly."
Cuddling in his arms, she couldn't help feeling sorry for him, "You came all the way tonight. Are you tired..."
"Yes." He deliberately sighed and held her waist.
Natalie rested her face on his chest, listened to his heartbeat, and said softly, "Don't go back tonight. Stay at my home tonight." There was a guest room anyway.
Luke pinched her ear and asked, "Can I sleep in your bedroom?"
As soon as he said it, she remembered that noon when he had taken advantage of her when she was slightly drunk.
Natalie blushed suddenly and hesitated for a long while. But he came all the way to see her tonight, so she said shyly, "You can... but I'm on my period."
He seemed to have read her mind. He sighed and said that he came all the way and his girlfriend wouldn't let him touch her. He sounded pitiful and helpless.
Natalie's heart softened and she hesitated, "I can help you..."
"How?" he asked, lowering his head.
Natalie bit her lips and whispered, "I can use my mouth and hands..."
