Chapter 29

Chapter 29
The woman's voice was soft and slightly mocking.
Aaron didn't even need to look to know whose voice it was. He frowned, thinking it was a hallucination that he wanted to fall into. But when he tilted his head slightly and saw the slender figure standing in front of him--
He was stunned, for quite a few seconds.
Yolanda leaned against the car window and looked at him with a smile. "What? Are you waiting for another sister?"
After that, she turned around and wanted to leave, "Then I won't disturb you."
After returning to his senses, he got out of the car, grabbed the person, and asked in a hoarse voice, "Didn't you leave?"
Yolanda looked at him. "I'm afraid you'll be lonely all your life."
After saying those words, she thought that those sayings were not quite right, so she immediately shook her head. "I mean, I'm afraid that you'll get bored at home alone, so I'm kind enough to come back to accompany you. Anyway, I've been living for nothing for more than two months."
Aaron didn't really care about the reason why she didn't leave. This was because the moment Yolanda appeared here, his heart, which had been throbbing painfully for a day and a night, finally beat normally.
His senses and emotions that seemed to be lost also instantly returned.
As if gaining back the once lost treasure, Aaron raised his hands and wanted to hug Yolanda, but his impulsive thought that appeared was suppressed by Bruce's words last night.
He had scared her once, and he couldn't do it twice again.
Get a hold of yourself, it was not easy for her to come by.
So, he put away all his emotions and only rubbed Yolanda's head. "At least you still have some conscience."
This action that was not strange before now made Yolanda slightly flustered. She pushed his hand away unnaturally. "Of course, do you think everyone is as unconscionable as you, who doesn't even send me a single message?" She pouted coquettishly.
Aaron grinned and opened the car door. "Get in the car."
On the way back, the two were already chatting in their new identities.
"How did Marc Shaw agree to your return?" Aaron asked.
Yolanda could not care less. "What's the difference? My feet are on me. If I want to come back, I'll come back."
"But your relatives are all in the Ustrana."
"..." There was a slight pause in her smile. Yolanda thought oh her mother, whom she had not seen for years.
After being silent for a moment, she looked out the window and murmured, "Actually, I'm not very familiar with them."
This was also the reason why Yolanda didn't want to follow Marc. She grew up in the Capital and got used to everything here. When she went to the Ustrana, not to mention that there was a gap between her mother whom she has not seen for many years, she was unwilling to let her father stay in the Capital.
Yolanda then realized that she seemed to have a slip of tongue and was about to explain, but Aaron nodded. "You have amnesia now. So it's normal for you to feel unfamiliar with them. You'll be fine when you get back your memories."
"... " How kind of you for making things up for me.
After a while, Aaron asked again, "So, what's your name before your surname 'Shaw'?"
"What?" Yolanda was stunned, she could not react for a while.
When Marc Walter used his Ustranion's business card on purpose at the beginning, he wanted to erase all information about Yolanda to make Aaron believe that Yolanda, who lived in Ustrana was the one who had a car accident while she was traveling in the Capital.
Thus, Aaron naturally assumed that the surname of Yolanda would be 'Shaw'.
"What's your name?" Aaron asked again.
At the airport, Yolanda had just been thinking about coming back. When the eagerness faded away, she realized that she had not thought about how to clean up the situation after she came back.
Aaron had been asking twice. She didn't have time to think about it, she could only bite the bullet and reply. "Yolanda Shaw."
The current situation was very awkward. Her vest has fallen off halfway.
Their siblings' relationship was revealed by Marc Shaw, yet the drama of amnesia continued.
It was not impossible for her to continue acting, but when she recalled back the blazing expectations at the airport just now, the guilt that her conscience was condemned, and the feeling of not wanting to be a scum girl surpassed her.
Yolanda closed her eyes and wanted to confess that her real surname was 'Walter' impulsively. "Brother, actually, my name is..."
Aaron's cell phone rang unexpectedly on this occasion.
He connected to his car's Bluetooth speaker, and after answering the call, the content of the call came out clearly from the speaker.
"Mr. Jensen, Sally Moore did something crazy in the legal drama crew. She smashed the head of an actress there. Now, this matter hadn't been leaked out, but the other party wants to call the police."
Aaron frowned. "Do I look like a policeman to you?"
"No, I just want to ask if we need to-"
"I said, don't mention a word about this person in front again. Do you not understand human language or do you not want your job?" Aaron hung up the phone impatiently.
Then, he turned around and asked Yolanda, "What's wrong with your name?"
Yolanda gulped. "...No, nothing. "
Although she had seen how Aaron treated Sally Moore who tried to take advantage of him, Yolanda hesitated when she saw the disgust and indifference towards that woman in his eyes.
However, Aaron didn't notice anything unusual about her. "Yolanda Shaw? Was it the same 'Yolanda' that you had now?"
Wen Yu replied cautiously, "Yeah".
"That means you have a subconscious memory of your past." Aaron continued, "Otherwise, no matter how could you choose the same name?"
Yolanda's palms were breaking out with sweat. "...Well, maybe."
Yolanda first thought that Aaron would ask her a lot of questions, but she didn't expect him, just to ask her name along the way.
He didn't seem to be interested or wanted to know about the rest.
It was like having a wonderful dream. A day later, Yolanda returned to the house.
At the moment of entering the door, Ms. Twelve was stunned when she saw her, and then she winked at Aaron with a relieved expression, showing a kind of 'our young master finally knew how to chase people back' proud expression.
Ms. Twelve came over and held Yolanda's hand cordially. "Don't just leave like this next time, I haven't slept well all night."
Yolanda was very moved. She didn't expect that Ms. Twelve had such deep feelings for her. Just as she was about to thank her, Ms. Twelve sighed, "It was mainly because of the young master. He sat in the living room and watched 'Endless Affection' all night long yesterday.
Both Aaron and Yolanda were speechless. They felt that Ms. Twelve should have joined cross-talk, no one could keep up with her skill.
'Endless Affection' was the TV drama Ms. Twelve watched on that day with a cliché storyline, where the siblings fell in love.
Bringing this up at this critical juncture was kind of embarrassing.
However, Ms. Twelve's surprising words would only be late, never absent. She asked excitedly, "Young master, what was the ending yesterday? Did the siblings end up together in the end?"
Yolanda began to wonder if this aunt was purposely implying to Aaron and her. She lowered her head and stroked a few hairs around her ear embarrassingly.
Aaron's expression was awkward too, but he still cleared his throat twice and coldly replied. "Couldn't you say something more useful when you're being of mature age?
Ms. Twelve was dumbfounded by his words. "...?"
The two went back upstairs. The originally normal relationship and atmosphere all the way became subtle and ambiguous because of Ms. Twelve's intervention.
In fact, Aaron and Yolanda knew in their hearts that they were not real siblings, but were just bound into a 'habitual' sibling relationship.
However, Yolanda has not accepted the change in identity and emotion yet.
She was still in a state of confusion and not so certain about Aaron and herself, and also the two-way feelings between them.
After all, Aaron didn't say anything, and those thoughts of her own were just beginning to sprout.
As soon as reaching the door of the room, Yolanda stopped walking.

Both of them seemed to have something to say but hesitated whether it was the best time to speak. In the end, they stood for a few seconds, and said--
"I'll take a rest first."
"You go take a rest first."
There have been too many ups and downs throughout the whole day and night. Laying back on the familiar bed, although she regained her inner peace, Yolanda was also clear that her original script could not work at this point anymore.
Lookers-on see most of the game. In order not to let herself make a wrong judgment, Yolanda phoned Phoebe.
"Are you free now?" She rested her hand on her forehead, feeling a little helpless. "Dear sister, I've gotten into trouble, I need your help."
Phoebe was assigned a job soon after she signed with the Azel Group. Now she was playing a cameo role in a drama, and her part was not very heavy. She happened to be resting when Yolanda called her.
"What's wrong? What trouble had you gotten into? Did Aaron find out that you're pretending to have amnesia?"
Yolanda shook her head and was silent for a while, "My current situation is too complicated, I don't dare to act like this in TV dramas."
Phoebe was wearing a thick costume. Feeling hot, she took a few sips of the drink. "You're speaking as if it were true. I don't believe it."
Yolanda was silent for a while, then explained the events one by one. "My real brother has returned from the Ustrana."
"Aaron found out that I was meeting him in the hotel room."
"He took me home, lock me up in the dark room, and then-"
She ended the sentence, with her face full of helplessness. "He kissed me."
On the other end of the phone, Phoebe was drinking a sip of water, then stopped.
After a two-second pause, she spat the water all out.
Holy Moly, it turned out that 'a friend of mine' she mentioned that day was really Yolanda herself.
She wiped her mouth. "It sounds kinda exciting, what did he do to you? Say it again, I'm afraid I'd listen to it wrongly."
Yolanda buried her head. "Don't mention it. I've always had the feeling that I was playing an incestuous, cliché drama."
Phoebe, shocked for a few seconds, quickly became the 'onlooker' of the topic.
"Then?" She propped her chin with relish. "Don't worry, I've received professional training, so I can stand it no matter how shocking the event was. The more detailed you can describe, the better."
Yolanda raised her head and wanted to continue speaking, but she suddenly realized from Phoebe's slightly mischievous tone and frowned, "There's nothing happened afterward! It's not what you think!"
Phoebe just wanted to laugh the moment she heard Yolanda screwing things up.
"Got it, got it. Nothing happens."
After all, sooner or later, there would be something happening.
She sat upright. "Then what do you want to do now?"
"I haven't finished talking yet," Yolanda told Phoebe the event that Marc came to Aaron's house unexpectedly to take her away, and she could not help but return here back to Phoebe. Then, she sighed. "I just don't wanna return to Darlington today. I want to come back here."
Phoebe asked, "Are you not satisfied that you haven't brought James Hilton down?"
Yolana thought about it for a few seconds. "No."
Listening to such denial by her, Phoebe understood Yolanda's mind.
In fact, she had sensed something a long time ago. But at that time, Yolanda herself could not notice it. Lookers-on see most of the game.
After being silent for a while, Yolanda suddenly asked, "What do you think my chances of being forgiven are if I confessed to him now?"
Phoebe shook her head. "I have no idea about that."
There was really no answer to this. Aaron Jensen was such a proud person, who held countless powers in his hands and controlled the entire entertainment industry. Regardless of gender, everyone was trying their best to please him. Yet, such a person was being deceived by Yolanda with ulterior motives.
It was hard to predict the consequences.
Yolanda also lowered her head, thinking about this issue seriously.
"Or else," Phoebe suggested, "You can confess to him when he's in a good mood or on a holiday. Perhaps you can subside some of his anger through this way?"
Festival? Yolanda thought for a while, "But the most recent festival is either Women's Day or All Souls' Day. Do you want me to add insult to injury?"
Phoebe tutted, "Isn't Valentine's Day coming soon?"
After saying that, she blinked, "When the time comes, you should act like a spoiled brat and say that you lost your head because of that scumbag. If it doesn't work, you just follow what he did to you. Kiss him back, and make love with him by force! I don't believe he will be angry with you for more than 24 hours."
Although Phoebe was saying righteously, Yolanda, lying on the bed was flustered.
She had not celebrated Valentine's Day yet, when she made up the scene, she felt strangely embarrassed.
"But our relationship is still unclear now. Wouldn't I look a little unreserved if I invited him to spend Valentine's Day together?"
Phoebe answered with an indifferent face. "Which one is more important now? To be reserved or to be forgiven?"
She's right. Yolanda finally found a little direction from being clueless and made up her mind. "Then let me prepare myself mentally. Today is the third, it's just only ten days left."
Phoebe nodded, suddenly remembered something, and quietly lowered her voice. "By the way, about the other woman of James Hilton you mentioned earlier, has been filming in the crew next to me these two days."
Yolanda was taken aback. "Really?"
Last time, she stayed in the hotel but could not catch them. But this time, she ended up 'finding her' up in the film firm.
Yolanda felt that this should be an opportunity to take advantage of, but after thinking twice in her mind, she scratched her hair and said, "Forget it, I'll settle the most troublesome thing right now."
But after a pause, she still told Phoebe, "If you have a chance, help me cajole her. It'll be useful to me in the future."
"Got it."
When the chat was almost over, Ms. Twelve came and knocked on the door, calling Yolanda to go downstairs to eat.
There was no idea if it was to celebrate Yolanda's return, but this dinner was extraordinarily sumptuous. Yolanda and Aaron also sat down to eat as usual.
Everyone's faces were calm as if nothing had happened in the past few days, and this was just the most ordinary day for the siblings.
It was till after dinner.
Yolanda was going back to her room upstairs when Aaron stopped her before she entered the door.
"Yura."
Yolanda turned around and saw the man slowly walking towards her, with a different emotion in his eyes.
It seemed that this time, there was really something to say.
Inexplicably, Yolanda felt her face start to burn again. But she could not control the spread of heat.
She silently took a step back into the room, leaning against the door, trying to hide the blush on her cheeks in the darkness.
Of course, Aaron noticed it, thinking that his behavior that night left her with some bad memories, so he stopped moving forward.
In fact, he was also looking for a new way of getting along with Yolanda.
From Yolanda's attitude toward her relatives in the Ustrana, he could roughly know that Yolanda's return was due to the habit and dependence she had developed from living in the Jensen House since her memory loss.
She didn't want to face the unfamiliar past, which has been an advantage to Aaron.
Therefore, he didn't ask about her boyfriend at all, and it didn't matter whether Yolanda was informed of this person's existence by Marc or not.
Since she was back, this time she has to be his.
The two kept a distance.
"I want to tell you," Aaron uttered lightly, "If you can't accept some things for the time being,"
"You can still treat me as a brother first."
After two seconds, Yolanda reacted while blinking, "What kind of brother you meant?"
As soon as she said those words, she wanted to knock herself out.
Ahhh, what a mentally retarded question are you asking! Don't answer me, don't answer me, just pretend you didn't hear anything, she thought.
Yolanda wanted to say something else to cover it up, but Aaron just simply replied to her, "Any kind of brother is fine."
