Chapter 60
Upon hearing Aaron's words, Yolanda was dumbfounded.
She was stunned for two seconds. "Whom are you talking about?"
Yolanda didn't notice that Aaron's lips curved in a barely perceptible smile
. With a calm expression on his face, he said, "My ex-girlfriend."
"What?"
Yolanda immediately sat straight and pointed at the steering wheel. "Stop the car."
Coincidentally, they met a red light. Aaron slowly stepped on the brake and stopped the car.
Staring at him, Yolanda asked, "what do you mean? Your ex-girlfriend appears?"
Before Aaron could say anything, she immediately understood and said, "Oh, I see. Because your ex-girlfriend appears, you come all the way here to break up with me, right?"
"Why did you sleep with me last night?"
"Okay, I'll get off right now."
As she was about to open the door, Aaron pulled her back.
After locking the door, he looked at her.
"Can you let me finish my words?"
No way.
The word "ex-girlfriend" made Yolanda lose her mind.
She had been jealous that Aaron had once fallen in love with another woman. But thinking that it was just his unrequited love and he didn't even know her name, she convinced herself not to care about it.
But now that woman appeared.
Yolanda felt a strong sense of crisis.
After all, the woman was the person that Aaron had loved but could not be in love with.
In other words, his ex-girlfriend was more threatening to Yolanda than her ex-boyfriend was to him.
Yolanda didn't love James anymore. Now she just loathed this man.
But Aaron was different. Who knew if he still had some lingering feelings for his ex-girlfriend?
At the thought of this, Yolanda got angry immediately.
.
She stared at Aaron, jealous and aggrieved. "What do you want to say? Why are you coming to me? Go see her, then!"
Aaron thought, "Yes, I did come to look for her."
However, Aaron didn't plan to tell her in the car that she was his "ex-girlfriend" at such ordinary noon.
Then the two of them would sigh and hug each other with a smile.
If that was the case, the wonderful fate between him and her seemed to become less impressive and less of a surprise.
Last night, he had thought that if he wanted to renew this fate, he would have to bring Yolanda back to him in the best way.
So, now was not the best time to tell her about it.
Aaron calmly explained, "Because it was not until she appeared that I found..."
Yolanda thought, "Tell me! What did you find?"
After thinking for a while, Aaron turned around and said, "it turns out that I've only loved you."
It was true.
It was a hint.
But of course, Yolanda didn't understand what it meant.
At that moment, her heart skipped a beat since Aason seldom said sweet words to her.
What did he mean?
Why did he come here to say this?
Did he mean that his crush on the woman was just an illusion and that he had only loved her all the time?

Yolanda knew how it felt.
She looked at Aaron again, and she calmed down, "So, do you mean that you only like me?"
"Yes," Aaron answered simply.
The corners of her mouth curled upwards into a smile. This time, she was a little shyer after being confessed all of a sudden. She turned her face sideways and pretended to run one hand through the hair by the ear, and said, "Okay."
"Oh?" Aaron held her hand and asked, "Are you not jealous anymore?"
"When did I get jealous? I'm a generous person. I don't care how many ex-girlfriends you have."
The matter of his ex-girlfriend was temporarily over. The car went on driving. After a long silence, Yolanda suddenly said, "In fact, I know how you feel."
Aaron frowned, "Really?"
Nodding her head, Yolanda said seriously, "When I was with James, I thought I liked him. But when I met you later, I realized what true love is."
"So you don't have to care about my first love. Because in my heart..." Looking at Aaron, Yolanda whispered, "you are my first love."
After hearing this, Aason was so moved that he couldn't help but grip the steering wheel.
Aason could always keep his cool in dealing with big things, but what Yolanda said still made his heart flutter.
He was overjoyed.
He admitted this feeling.
"Did you hear me?" Asked Yolanda.
"Yes."
"But why are you not very happy? Shouldn't you stop the car and jump to celebrate being my first love?"
After a long while, Aaron replied, "I'm a generous person."
Amused and vexed, Yolanda hit him. "How annoying you are!"
It was undeniable that this casual conversation gave a chance for Yolanda to confess to Aaron, which completely solved the knot in their hearts for James.
The atmosphere finally returned to what it was before. A smile appeared at the corners of his mouth.
When she was in a good mood, Yolanda asked, "how did your ex-girlfriend come to you?"
Aaron paused for a while, and answered in a way how Yolanda dealt with the reporters. He fudged the question without distorting the truth, "She asked someone to bring me something I know."
"Well," said Yolanda in a low voice, "What a scheming woman!"
In Marc's villa.
When Yolanda returned, the family had already had lunch. Olivia was taking care of the flowers and plants in the yard, and Elbert was standing next to her. Although Olivia didn't want him to help her, he still stayed by her side.
Seeing that Aaron's car stopped at the door, Elbert immediately stood straight with his hands behind his back and his face became serious.
When he saw that Yolanda got out of the car and wore a long dress, Elbert seemed to know what had happened.
"Mom, we're back," said Yolanda.
Following her, Aaron greeted politely, "Mr. Walter, Mrs. Walter."
Olivia replied with a smile.
Elbert looked at Aaron unhappily. After a while, he snorted.
Then he left with his hands clasped behind his back.
After a few seconds of silence, Yolanda patted Aaron's chest to comfort him, "It's okay. My dad is always in a bad mood recently."
Olivia said, "I think so."
In fact, Aaron didn't care. "Never mind.
"
Marc went to work, so there were only Olivia and Elbert at home.
Olivia led Aaron to the sofa and asked, "this morning, you called Marc and told him that your parents had a meal with Yolanda. How was it?"
After hearing that, Yolanda was stunned. She asked Aaron, "have you called my family?"
Olivia squinted at her and said, "this is Mr. Jensen's etiquette. Unlike you, you didn't get up until noon, did you?"
Elbert, who was pretending to pass by not far away, felt even unhappier when he heard that.
Aaron replied in a polite and modest way. In a word, he concluded, "my parents like Yolanda very much."
Yolanda nudged him and asked, "do you like me?"
Aaron paused and looked at her, with a hint of not flirting in front of the elders.
He was indeed such a person who was very restrained and rational in love.
Not to mention in front of unfamiliar elders.
Upon hearing his words, Yolanda said, "I'm going upstairs to change my clothes. You can talk to my mother for a while."
As she walked upstairs, her phone rang. She picked it up while walking. The sound came from the corridor to the living room.
"Do they want to buy it off? How many millions?"
"That's impossible."
"I can consider proportion ledger account. What? Is he kidding me? 74 million?"
"Now six companies are negotiating with us. Don't be in such a hurry. Let's talk about it when I go back."
When she reached the second floor, the voice was getting lower and lower, but the confidence and skillfulness in Yolanda's voice were still obvious.
With a smile, Olivia withdrew her sight and said to Aaron, "Although she is a little tempered at ordinary times, she is serious at work. She often answers the phone and arranges work in this way these days."
Aaron also nodded. "She is changing, and will be better."
Olivia said, "thank you for teaching her."
"I'm flattered." Aaron paused for a few seconds and said, "I like her. Of course, I want her to be the ideal person."
Olivia admired Aaron more and more. After a while, she patted his leg and said, "but sometimes, don't hide your love in your heart."

"Yura told me that you never said you liked her. Although I just met you a few times, I can see that you are a very calm and capable man. Maybe you prefer to prove yourself with actions, but you should know that although actions are important, the love you express does not mean that you are hypocritical."
"There are many ways to express your love, but..." said Olivia with a gentle smile. "That silly girl upstairs wants to hear it from you."
Aaron thought for a long time before he said yes.
When Olivia was about to continue, she couldn't help but turn to look at Elbert.
"Why are you walking around in front of us?"
With his hands clasped behind his back, Elbert was still thinking about the long dress. Deliberately, Elbert said, "my legs are not feeling well."
Who knew what he was talking about? Olivia ignored him. At this moment, Yolanda also changed her clothes and came downstairs.
"Mom, there will be a press conference about the movie in two days. There are still a lot of things waiting for me to deal with. I have to leave tomorrow. I can't stay any longer."
Then she took out her phone and said, "Dad, I will book your ticket together."
Elbert was stunned. Subconsciously, he took a look at Olivia, coughed, and said unnaturally, "I...I'm not leaving now."
"My leg hurts." Elbert immediately took advantage of his casual words just now to find an excuse, "it hurts so much."
Finally, Elbert stayed for the reason of his sudden leg pain.
Olivia didn't drive him away, so Yolanda understood.
Although her parents had divorced for more than 10 years, both of them hadn't remarried. Was it because they were disappointed in marriage or because they couldn't accept the second person at all? Yolanda didn't know.
Many things in life were hard to explain, and her parents were no exception.
It would be a good result if they could reach the consummation of each other after they had been through trials and hardships.
That night, Aaron stayed at Yolanda's house for dinner.
Marc also went home after work, and the whole family sat at the table for dinner. During the dinner, they talked about the residence of Yolanda after she came back. Yolanda pointed at Aaron and said, "Of course, I will live with him."
Elbert said immediately, "I object."
How could they live together?
How about her daughter's legs?
Elbert strongly opposed and voted, "You are not married yet. You are just in a relationship. There is no need for you to live together for the time being. Now if more of our family object, you are not allowed to live together."
"Dad, you..."
"I object." Elbert raised his hand.
Then he looked at Olivia and said, "how about you?"
"I don't care about my daughter's private life." Olivia didn't want to talk with him.
This was an agreement.
Elbert also knew that Olivia would not object. He hoped that Marc could help him.
Elbert fixed his eyes on his son and said, "how about you, Marc?"
As long as Marc also opposed, then two to one, he had enough reasons to stop Aaron from hurting his daughter's legs.
Elbert looked at his son expectantly.
It was a funny thing, and Yolanda didn't plan to take it seriously. But she still looked at her brother as if she was interested.
Aaron and Yolanda took different positions. If Elbert insisted on not allowing Aaron to live with Yolanda and made a fuss about this vote, Aaron couldn't forcefully live with her.
Therefore, the key point was attitude of Marc.
Everyone looked at him, waiting for the answer.
Marc drank the soup unhurriedly. After a while, he raised his head and said indifferently.
"I don't care."
The living room was quiet for a few seconds.
"Humph!" After the vote failed, Elbert threw down his bowls and left the table angrily.
Then, Yolanda couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Is my father a princess now? He always snorts. Who does he want to coax him?"
Marc said, "it's not you and me anyway."
After dinner, Yolanda was about to leave, so she kept chatting with Olivia in the kitchen.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Aaron found Marc. "Go out and have a chat?"
Marc looked at him and smiled, "okay."
The two men, who were about the same age and had fought with each other for a long time, finally stopped fighting this night. They chatted with each other by the car outside the villa in a harmonious manner.
"Do you want to go back?" Aaron asked.
Marc took two bottles of beer, one for Aaron, and the other for himself. After taking a sip, he said after a long time, "No."
After a moment of silence, Aaron opened the bottle of beer and said, "she has been helping me look after the company these days."
"Really?" Marc said indifferently.
"You really don't care?"
Marc remained silent and didn't answer Aaron's question.
Of course, Aaron understood what he meant. He didn't ask any more questions and talked about something else.
"Thank you just now." He said.
Marc said, "what?"
"Your father's vote."
Aaron didn't expect that Marc would vote for it.
Marc sneered, "I'm just helping my sister."
"Anyway, thank you."
After listening for a while, Marc turned to look at Aaron and sighed with a faint smile, "It's rare to hear you say that, brother-in-law to be."
Smart men didn't need to talk too much.
As Marc called Aaron "brother-in-law to be", it was obvious that he had made a stand.
Aaron also lowered his eyes and chuckled, "should I say thank you for your help, Brother?"
Both of them looked at each other and smiled lightly.
The two men clinked glasses of beer at the same time as if they had forgotten everything in the past.
"Brothers, what are you talking about?" At this moment, Yolanda walked out of the house and saw the two men leaning against the car and chatting with each other. She was in a good mood and walked straight into the middle of the two men, acting like a spoiled child.
"Can you take me with you?"
Marc said, "No."
Aaron said, "No."
Yolanda was stunned.
She pinched them and said, "Okay, you two have a secret talk now, right?"
Despite this, she was happy to see that her two brothers didn't fight against each other anymore.
She put her hands on the shoulders of the two men and sighed, "I feel that I am the happiest person in the world now."
Marc smiled, "just because you have two brothers?"
"No. You are my brother."
Then she looked at Aaron and said in a shy voice, "he's different."
Marc stared at her.
While the brother and sister were talking, Aaron, who was standing next to them, took back the hand that was resting on Marc's shoulder.
Marc said, "Aaron, are you serious?"
Aaron said calmly, "Yes."
"If you want someone to put a hand on your shoulder." Aaron stretched out his hand and said, "let me do it."
With a disgusted look on his face, Marc walked away and drank up the beer in his hand. "You are so bossy. I don't know why my sister likes you."
Then he threw the empty beer can into the trash can not far away and said, "I will leave."
Marc left and Yolanda laughed happily. Taking a deep breath, Yolanda to be turned around to see if Aaron had laughed together. But she found that the man leaned against the car and looked at her quietly. "I also want to know."
Stunned, she asked, "what?"
"I'm so domineering. Why do you like me?"
The smile on her face faded away. Blinking her eyes, she wrapped her arms around Aaron's neck and kissed him on the lips. "I just like you being domineering, okay?"
After a pause, she asked, "what about you? Why do you like me?"
Aaron looked at her and didn't answer for a long time.
Yolanda knew that Aaron was not good at sweet words. Pursing her lips, she said, "forget it. I'm glad that I know you like me."
The night was so quiet that only the moonlight was left. At this moment, a gust of wind blew, making her long hair a little messy on her face. She stretched out her hand, but Aaron's hand reached out first.
He gently brushed away the messy hair on her face and looked into her clear eyes.
After a long time, he lowered his head and kissed her. Then he told her gently and slowly with a warm breath between her teeth.
"I don't like you."
Caught off guard, Yolanda widened her eyes in shock.
"Yura."
"I love you."
