Chapter 234 Grinning From Ear to Ear
Si Yejue looked at Ou Yang to prevent him from telling the truth.
If Gu Nian was told the truth now, the surprise that Si Yejue got for her would be in vain.
Gu Nian was confused and asked, "Actually what?"
Ou Yang spoke again, "Actually, Mr. Si changed the time of holding meetings."
Si Yejue would hold a meeting in Phantom Company rather than in the Si Corporation.
The meeting was indeed delayed until half an hour later.
Gu Nian gave Ou Yang a questioning look but didn't think much about his words.
It was because she believed Si Yejue.

Just as Gu Nian was about to get out of the car, Si Yejue pulled her towards him and then lowered his head to kiss her passionately.
He didn't stop kissing Gu Nian until Gu Nian felt as if she was about to suffocate.
Si Yejue said peremptorily and possessively, "Every time we leave each other, you should kiss me goodbye."
Gu Nian stared at him and asked, "If I only part from you for five minutes, should I do the same?"
She thought, "What if I want to go to the toilet during a date?"
Si Yejue nodded and said firmly, "Yes!"
"If..."
Si Yejue gazed at Gu Nian. "If you don't kiss me, next time you have to kiss me for a longer time. For example, ten minutes or half an hour."
He kept staring intensely at Gu Nian.
Gu Nian blushed scarlet instantly and quickly kissed Si Yejue on the lips.
"See you later tonight."
Gu Nian got out of the car and ran fast like a rabbit that was targeted by a hungry wolf.
Ou Yang looked at Si Yejue in the rearview mirror. He coughed awkwardly to remind Si Yejue.
"Mr. Si, you almost grin from ear to ear."
Si Yejue raised his head in confusion. "What?"
Ou Yang got out of the car and then opened the car door for him. "Mr. Si, the grin on your face is incompatible with your image."
Si Yejue seldom smiled, so Ou Yang felt scared to see him smile broadly.
Ou Yang could try hard to get used to Si Yejue's smiles.
But other workers in the company would only feel shocked and fearful.
After getting out of the car, Si Yejue stopped smiling and immediately put on a stern and cold face.
The glance at Si Yejue made Ou Yang's hair stand on end.
"Mr. Si, now I think you are more charming when you smile."
Ou Yang would rather see Si Yejue's grin than see his poker face.
When Si Yejue thought about Gu Nian, a smile lifted the corner of his mouth again, and his cold expression softened.
His gentle smile made Ou Yang feel like in the spring when the snow melted and everything burst into life.
Ou Yang thought Si Yejue's expression changed so fast.
Gu Nian took the passenger elevator next to which was another elevator only available for CEOs. So she could only use the passenger elevator.
Gu Nian found some employees carrying lots of things in the elevator.
She asked in puzzlement, "Did you guys resign?"
There were many companies in Yinghe Building. So it was common to see some companies move away.
The employees in the elevator were from different firms, so Gu Nian was confused.
Those employees knew Gu Nian and explained, "We didn't resign. The firms we work in were all relocated."
Gu Nian asked, "Why?"
"We don't know what happened. But we are glad that our companies can relocate from this shabby building to a better area."
It was because the relocation proved that companies were developing rapidly.
"Ms. Gu, you don't plan to move away, right?"
Gu Nian said briefly, "Yes."
"Ms. Gu, almost all the companies in this building moved to a better area except yours. Is it because your firm develops poorly?"
"The relocated firms all have a bright prospect."
"I suggest that your company should relocate. Maybe this building is of bad geomantic quality. With other companies moving away, you also lack interpersonal connections. So I am afraid that your company will have a bleaker outlook."
Gu Nian smiled faintly. "No, thanks. This building used to belong to my family. When Phantom Company is well-run, I will purchase the building and get back the ownership."
The Gu family once owned the whole Yinghe Building. But the building was sold by Zhou Chen, and only its 23rd floor was left.
Later, a financial center was built near the building and thus drove the property price to rise sharply.
If most firms in Yinghe Building moved away now, Gu Nian could buy back the building at the lowest price.
Hearing Gu Nian's words, those employees looked at each other and smiled contemptuously. They thought Gu Nian was bragging.
In their eyes, only companies that were going to be bankrupt would continue to stay in Yinghe Building.
They moved their stuff out of the elevator and to the parking lot.
One of them happened to see Ou Yang and was shocked.
"Is that person the special assistant to Mr. Si?"
They wondered why Ou Yang came to this shabby building.
