Chapter 8 Milana, I Can't Help It
Jayson raised his head and looked at Milana. He couldn't believe what he heard just now, "Milana...what did you say?"
She said he was her man!
At this moment, he was obsessed with her tenderness even if it was a lie.
Milana repeated what she had said. Her tone was still domineering, even a little jealous.
"My man's body can't be exposed to anyone, not even men!"
The way she spoke was like a jealous woman.
Oliver sneered, "Miss Gates, are you going to hurt Mr. Scott again?"
Every time Milana did something good to Jayson, she always had ulterior motives, either for escaping or for business secrets.
And she succeeded every time.
Jayson said in a deep voice, "Oliver!"
Milana didn't answer Oliver, but asked the doctor, "How is Jay?"
"It's bad. The wound has been inflamed by an infection after being rained for several days. So applying medicine is needed right now. And remember to arrange a lighter diet for him recently. No intense exercise."
She kept it in mind.
"Oliver, go back and have a rest."
He didn't listen to her, but looked at Jayson.
Smelling the noodles, Jayson said, "Listen to Mila"
Oliver couldn't say anything before Jayson, so he glared at Milana with much malice as a way of warning, and then he left.
She was a disaster!
"Jay have some noodles, and I'll apply...medicine for you."
Milana sat across from him and deliberately extended the tone.
Jayson glanced at her, then lowered his head and ate the noodles quietly.
She didn't urge him, putting hands on her cheeks and gazing at him.
Shaped like a sword, his eyebrows were sharp and thick.
His nose was very straight. Its outline could be seen under the light.
The outline of his face looked cold and hard, seeming to have a layer of frost condensed on it.
He was eating noodles, graceful, cool, and abstinent.
He was so handsome that she didn't want to remove her eyes from him.
She didn't realize it until now. Was she blind before?
Jayson, as a matter of fact, felt her burning gaze, but he didn't look at her, for fear of destroying the ambiguous atmosphere between them at the moment.
Milana stood up.
Jayson raised his head and asked in a panic, "Where are you going?"
Milana walked over to him and held his hand. "Eat the noodles and I'll apply medicine for you."
"Milana..."
She put her index finger on his lips to stop him.
"The doctor said that you are not allowed to do intense exercise. So I can only apply medicine for you."
Jayson frowned and felt she had changed. "Milana..."
"I'll give you a kiss as long as I finished my job--applying the medicine."
She stood on tiptoe and placed a light kiss on his lips.
"Like this."
It made him feel dizzy when her soft lips touched his.
When he gathered his sense, she had already taken him to his room.
She was going to take off his bathrobe.
But he grabbed her cold hand. "Milana, I can't help it!"
"You don't need to bear it when you recover."
Looking at him, she pouted like a grumpy girl.
"If you don't listen to me, I will not talk to you anymore."
He looked at her and released her hand slowly.
When her cold fingertips accidentally touched his skin, he straightened at once like a motionless sculpture.
She took off his bathrobe and looked at his back.
There were many wounds on his back and they had been festering due to the rain.
Her eyes turned red filled with lots of care.
Her tears were dripping.
A drop of warm tear fell on his wound.
His straight body, as well as his heart, trembled when he felt the tear.
He said hoarsely, "Milana..."
