"It's cozy." Aella commented as she continued to look around.
"Yeah, I know right?" Logan answered as he moved left her at the entrance and moved further inside, turning on lights as he went. "My dad told me his great great-something grandfather found this cabin when he came to this place to settle, long before the seat of the alpha ever came to our family. It has been in our family ever since then."
Aella moved inside and continued to look around. She ran her hand over the faded red plaid material of the chairs around the fireplace, over the slightly dusty array of things on the shelf. They were mostly small ceramic figures: little dancing men, women and children. Aella picked one up and examined it. "Do you come here often?"
"Not as often as I used to, but I was here about a week ago." He replied. Aella nodded. That would explain the minimal dust.
After he had finished turning on the lights, Logan came back to where she was standing. He was wearing clothes now, while she was still naked. She reached for her bag and drew out his black shirt. She wore it and did the buttons while he watched.
"You're slowly turning me on while you do that, Aella." He whispered. He took a step towards her, then stopped and turned away. He feared that he would not be able to control himself if he moved too close to her.
He walked towards the fireplace and felt the charred sticks in it while feeling Aella's eyes on his back. "I'll fetch some sticks outside." He said and walked out.
He came back with a couple of sticks minutes later and arranged them in the fireplace, then lit a match. Soon the whole room was warm and cozy with the warmth from the fire.
"Do you still feel sleepy?" Logan asked. Aella nodded in the affirmative and he walked to the bed by the corner and pulled the patchwork quilt away from the bed, along with two bed sheets and several pillows. He walked back to the front of the fireplace and threw them on the ground, then spread the sheets and arranged the pillows. He then turned off all the lights in the cabin so that the only source of light was the fireplace. He walked back to the sheets on the floor and laid on them while watching Aella.
"Come." He called and she moved forward. She laid her head on his chest and he heard her sigh in pleasure. He began to stroke her hair, slowly, rhythmically, while they laid together in silence. Then she squirmed uncomfortably.
"What's wrong?" He asked, stopping his stroking. "Are you uncomfortable?"
"No, I'm fine Logan." She said and he continued his stroking. Then out of the blue, she asked. "Logan, do you trust me?"
He stopped again, then raised himself on one elbow to look into her eyes. He had let down his ponytail and strands of his hair tickled Aella's face.
"Do you trust me?" She repeated. "I need you to answer me, Logan."
"Yes." He answered and swallowed hard. He felt like whatever she would say next wouldn't be something he would like.
"Then you trust that whatever I do is for our good, the both of us. Right?" She continued.
"Aella what are you—"
"Shhh." She put a hand to his lips. "Just answer me, Logan. Truthfully too."
"I'm sure that whatever you do is to the best of our interests." He answered slowly, still not sure where she was heading.
She smiled up at him, the fire in the fireplace reflecting in her big brown eyes. "We were several worlds apart, yet the Goddess found a way to bring us together. And that is the greatest gift the universe has given me since I was born. I love you very much, Logan."
"I love you too." Logan answered. "But—"
"I know you find it difficult to trust me after seeing my tattoo, but I want you to, now. Trust me for the both of us. Trust that whatever I do from this point on, or whatever I did in the past, I did it for us. Be prepared for what is coming." She said finally and before he could ask her what she meant, she reached up and kissed him fully on the lips.

Desire overrode whatever emotions he was feeling before and he settled himself into the kiss. She spread her legs widely apart and put them around his waist, moaning as he gently teased her lower lip with his. She gently tugged at his hair until he broke the kiss, then she flipped him easily on his back, sitting astride him. He kept forgetting how strong she was.
She began to undo the buttons of the black shirt she was putting on, then pulled it off. Her breasts were full and perky, shadows from the fire dancing around it. He reached out to touch her hard nipples but she gently pushed his hands away, then started to unbuckle his trousers. He helped her pull the trousers off him, and she knelt in silence as she looked at his full hard dick.
Then she climbed him again and gently guided his dick into her from below, sighing as it went all in. She felt slick and warm, as tight as the first night they had been together. Then she started to ride him in slow, rhythmic motions, letting out moan after moan in pleasure.
Logan sighed and grabbed her waist as she continued to move atop him. The movements increased in intensity and he began to breathe heavily as he could see release coming.
"Aella..." He whispered but she didn't stop. He didn't want her to stop. The rhythm continued to increase until the both of them were panting with the effort, and soon enough he let out a groan of release and grabbed her waist tightly as he came violently inside her.
She collapsed onto his chest, panting, her hair damp with sweat. They didn't say another word, only holding each other close as they both drifted into an easy sleep.
Logan woke up before her the next morning. He stood up from the floor and looked down at his mate, snoring peacefully. He smiled and picked up the quilt, covering her with it. Then he took a quick bath in the cabin's bathroom. He decided to check on the pack, and so he put on his clothes and walked out.
Within a few minutes he got to the pack's borders and crossed it. He walked to the dining room where he knew Louve and Casper would be having breakfast. True enough, they were there, just finishing up their food.
"Logan!" Louve exclaimed as she saw her cousin. Logan felt like it had been a very long time since he had last seen her. She and Casper seemed to be on talking terms again as they were both smiling and sitting beside each other.
"Louve, Casper." He nodded in greeting to each of them, then took a seat at the table.
"I haven't been seeing you around lately." Casper said, then looked towards the door of the dining room expectantly. "Uh, where's Aella?"
"That's what I came to tell you two." He said. "I hid her in a safe place, till all this tension surrounding her tattoo dies down. She's been getting threats and a few attacks. She's not safe here."
"Ohhh, that was wise." Louve replied. "I hope she's good."
"She is." Logan replied. "And how have things been so far around here?" He asked.
"Well, things have been relatively peaceful." Casper shrugged. "Elias is still walking around like he owns the place. But we've been trying to keep the unrest under control."
"Thank you." Logan replied, then turned to Louve. "I want you to move the warriors to the underground bunker. Make sure they are safe, and don't let Elias get anywhere near them."
"I would take out his teeth first before he comes anywhere near them." Louve said with venom and Logan smiled. He knew she would be able to handle things while he was gone.
"Alright." He said, standing up. "I should be on my way now. I'll come back later today to check up again."
They both stood up and escorted him outside, where he bid them farewell and raced back to the cabin. When he got to the cabin, he opened the door and stepped inside.
"Aella, I'm back!" He called but nobody answered. The fire in the fireplace had died down and only glowing embers lit the room. He turned on the light switch closest to him and saw that the makeshift bed on the floor was empty.
"Aella?" He called again, then moved further inside the cabin. She was nowhere to be found.
He guessed that she had wandered outside, since she loved the great outdoors so much. He walked back outside and walked to the back of the cabin, all the while calling her name, but she didn't answer.
It was only after he had searched round the cabin several times that the fear in his heart began to blossom.
She was gone.
