Sometimes when one thinks of the past, moving forward to the future seems hard for them. Every night, Dad would always come to tell me tales of how they fought with a magical stone called the Onyx. He said it was what brought us together as clans all over the lands, excluding the Werecats.
The breeze blew my light brown hair which was slowly bleaching into blonde like my mom's as I kept writing my journal. Although I still haven't believed there was any such thing as magic, I still needed to find out.
I jumped down the fence, in my leather top and jacket with boots, my two long swords clasped to my back as I walked back to the training field. I looked at the people fighting and some bowing to me. With pride and elegance, I swerved my hips past the boys, while my four friends followed from each side.
Tracy, Eretria, Romena, and Sasha. Two of them were hot blonde chicks in their mid-twenties, while the other two were brunettes. We are the Angel Squad and we rule the United Clan Training School. No one dared crosses us, unless they are ready to face hell on earth. My life is fucking good and I'm not ready to leave it.
I am Princess Aurora. Heir to the two most powerful clans. Wolf pack and Vampire City. I'm twenty-seven, with brownish-blonde hair and blue eyes. I always wished to have like my Dad's hair which prompted me to always dying the darned thing. My father is King Zeidan of Vampire City. My mother is the Alpha of South Park. I own the school and I can do whatever I want.
I turned around the block but I got hit by someone who spilled a drink on my top.
"Hey, watch it," I yelled but only until I looked up into the most beautiful green eyes I've ever come across.
He was tall, broad-chested, and face full of confidence as he held the cup to his chest. He also had full dark hair that was cut to give him a hot look.
"Not like I wasn't stained with the drink as well. I think we both need to watch it next time." With that, he left without an apology.
"How dare he?!" Romena squealed, throwing her hair backward.
"Who the hell is he?" Sasha asked but Aurora stepped forward looking at the new guy going forward, his appearance so perfect.
"He must be the new guy rumored to have come from very far. I hear his family was murdered when he was five and was taken away. Now he's back." Eretria put in and she listened intently.
"So, who took him?"

"Many people have many theories but some of them said that it could be the legendary Shelbrooke but we all know Shelbrooke is a myth right?" Romena asked.
But she just stared into space. "I don't care who he is." She arched a brow. "He has just offended me and he has to pay for it. Get me his info, we must teach him a lesson tonight."

I received my share of food and went to sit at the canteen, thinking of what had just transpired between the Princess and me. What an arrogant woman. She was just as they had described her to be.
He cut a succulent part of his meat and started chewing. He knew his mission in the school and he knew nothing must change it. He has to focus and make sure nothing goes out of hand. Like his father would always say, "I saved you and gave you life. It's high time you do the same."
And he was right. If anything, his father had helped him out of that hell hole and made him who he is today. He may not be rich already but he has a great deal of property left by his late biological Father. His biological father's death was very tragic they say but he had been told who was responsible and he has made it his mission to tear her apart the same way she tore his father apart.
He drank water from his glass cup but only for a while before a hand hit the cup and water poured on his body.
Laughter filled the whole canteen and when he looked up, it was the stinky attitude of Princess, Aurora.
"I see you're enjoying lunch. What is that you're eating again?" She mocked as she picked his meat as if irritated by it then dropped it on his lap.
Their eyes met and she placed a hand on her mouth as if her act wasn't intentional. "Oops."
The rest of the students laughed again.
"I'm sorry, but do we know each other before?" He rose, towering above her but she didn't seem the slightest intimidated by his height.
Defying. He liked that about her.
"No. But we do now, half-breed." An outburst of laughter let out.
He raised a hand to punch her but she held his wrist, hit his other hand with her second elbow, then grabbed his chin.
"You fight too strongly for a girl as pretty as you." He managed to say, hands raised.
"What is your name, strange boy?" Aurora asked.
After thinking about it for a while, he looked down at her, her blue eyes meeting with his green eyes. Finally, he answered.
"GABE."
