Zeidan held Lyne's hand firmly as they entered through the huge iron gates that guarded the South Park palace of the Wolf Pack. He could sense her will to stay strong and confident. As they walked through, he could see the large garden where different kinds of flowers grew, in the middle was a small path where they can walk through. That path had already been covered by a red carpet and on the other end, it reached a land mass close to the palace but near a clear stream.
On the land, it was evident that a wedding would soon commence. If it hadn't even commenced because guests had started arriving. Residents of South Park, Styx's subjects, and Lyne's siblings were all dressed beautifully as they sat down at the front. They were all expecting the bride to come outside and it reminded him of that night. The night when his journey with his other half began.
She squeezed his hand lightly and he could tell the memory also crossed her mind. They both smiled at each other.
"What do you think of the decorations?" Lyne asked as they stood a few feet away from the gathering.
"Well, it's quite beautiful and more detailed but I can surely say that no wedding is more memorable than ours," Zeidan replied, and thinking about it, he wondered what could actually happen here that would make it more memorable without involving Lyne. He hoped in his mind that everything goes on well. Korba's wedding can't be destroyed because of Lyne's arrival.
"Will you both stand there like soldiers of the galaxy or will you find a seat and settle down like our guests?"
Turning towards the voice, he could see Korba looking her best by wearing a silver gown that had a long tail dragging through the grass. Her hair was neatly done and she looked more radiant than she had when he first knew her. She had on red lipstick and her eyes glittered under the sun.
If anything, Lyne's dream was wrong this time. She looked very happy to see her sister and he confirmed it when she pulled Lyne in for a hug.
"How're you doing, little sis?"
Lyne wrapped her arms around Korba, hesitating for a few seconds.
"I...I'm doing very well, thank you."
When they both disentangled, he could see a twinkle in her eyes. He decided to travel into her head but his phone rang, interrupting his thoughts.
"Excuse me, Korba. I'll just take this call."
"Alright, take your time. Meanwhile, I asked for Lyne to be my Chief bridesmaid immediately after I heard you were coming."
Zeidan paused in his tracks as he looked at Lyne and Korba. A mischievous smile played on her older sister's lips and he wondered if Lyne had been right about her intention. Surely, this woman still thinks her younger sister is a freak. His phone rang again the second time and he swiped the green button to answer.
"Hey, Dan. What's up?"
"Hey, Zeidan, you will not believe what I just discovered."
He straightened. His mind suddenly off Korba and whatever little game she planned to play.
"Shoot."
"Do you remember the drug store Samantha asked you to go to? The one who had sold the particular bottle of pills you saw."
"Yes, I do. What happened?"
"Well, our Mysteria had just struck. The manager is dead."
"Really? Oh no." He rubbed his palms over his face.
"But do you know what that implies?" Dan's voice inquired over the phone and he shook his head.
"No."
"The manager was the one who had sold the pill and Mysteria knowing you have found him decided to kill him to shut him up."
"Who could this person be?" He mused to himself.
"That, my friend, is what we don't know. We do know some helpful things though. That Mysteria is a woman, she always wears a black cloak, she has a pair of Krysts or what did you call it? She also has a sickness that required that drug. One thing I can conclude is, the man you have or used to have in the prison is not the perpetrator."

"If he isn't, then why did he run away?"
"The same reason I'll run away if I was accused wrongly of murder. I might be killed before the investigation is concluded."
Zeidan sighed. "So, what do you say we do?"
"To be honest, I don't know. But I'll talk to Marianne and see how she can help. I don't really know who I'm married to anymore. I mean, she lied to me about Roderigo being her brother." Zeidan could imagine Dan, his older friend, frowning and probably heartbroken about his wife lying to him.
"It's okay, Dan. Most of us lie to protect the ones we love. She's probably doing the same thing."
"Unfortunately, I feel more hurt than safe. All thanks to her lies."
"The best part is, Roderigo isn't her concubine. He's just a Vampire who is only interested in saving me. And I wonder who he is saving me from. Or why?"
"Let's talk about her later. For now, we should visit the drug store and see who we can question."
"That will be later tomorrow. I..." He heard a growl behind him and some yelling.
"Hey, what's going on?" Dan asked and he turned towards the gathering. What he saw was beyond his comprehension. A big white Wolf. His big white wolf facing a scrawny-looking wolf and they didn't look too good with each other.
"Hey! Are you still there?" Dan's voice came up again. "Are you okay? Where the hell are you man?"
"You know what? I'll call you back. I have some business to attend to."

Lyne felt like a part of her was leaving when Zeidan left to pick up his call. She felt like she had been ripped off her gown and made to stand naked. But, she needed to get used to staying a day without him. That is if she can survive it in the end. She watched him move away, one hand in his pocket and the other placing the phone to his ear.
"You can't seem to stand a day without him, can you?"
Lyne blinked her eyes away and focused on her sister.
"I'm sorry. Let's go."
"Okay." Korba walked down the remaining part of the aisle, her arm hung in Lyne's who led her to Azrael's side.
Unlike her dream, Azrael still looked cool, and how she had known him since she was a kid. His dark curly hair sat around his forehead and his stony eyes still screamed beauty. But she just smiled at him and mouthed a congratulation. He smiled back. Something she never would have dreamed of doing. Talking to Azrael and not melting on a stance.
"Thanks for coming." Azrael's deep voice thanked her and she nodded her head as she looked at him from where she stood, behind Korba.
"It's my pleasure, believe me." She whispered.
"You both could have just asked for a bed, so you can continue your little romance as usual." Lyne heard Korba say in a loud voice and it shocked her. Everyone seated could only gasp.
"Oh my god!"
"What is she talking about?"
"Could Azrael and Lyne be having an affair?"
"What are you doing, Korba?" Azrael gritted his teeth as he grabbed his bride's arm. However, she yanked her arm off as if his touch disgusted her.
"Am I lying? You and Lyne have fallen in love for a long time and I didn't know about it, why?"
"Who told you this?" Lyne asked, her head full of numerous questions.
"No one you should be concerned about. But it's high time you stopped taking what belongs to me, you freak!"
The word she heard in her dream that got her worked up. Indeed, she still saw her as a weakling.
"Korba, enough." It was her father.
"You shouldn't worry, Father. You have never stood up for me and I don't need you to now." Her eyes were turning darker blue as she tried to contain her anger but it just wasn't working.
"That's who you are. A freak!" Korba repeated and she proved her wrong, her white furry body pouncing on her sister.
