Valerie laid on the bed in her Hut sleeping soundly, suddenly, she sprung off the bed, her whole body shook with fear. 

"no no no". she whispered. 

"no, this can't be happening".

Gwen stared at Lance for a while before she passed out, she transformed to her human form as Lance hurried to meet her. 

Asher and Leo stood up, shielding their eyes, while grace went in to get a blanket. 

"here alpha". She said, handing the blanket over to lance. 

Covering her with the blanket, he took her upstairs in a flash, then he laid her on the bed. 

He didn't want to leave her, but he needed to know what's happening. How is this even possible? He tucked her in, placed a kiss on her forehead before going back downstairs. 

Everyone was already inside, and they seemed to be lost in their discussion. 

"how is this even possible, what is she". Asher said. 

"well....". The pack doctor was saying when she saw Lance coming downstairs. 

"alpha". She bowed. 

"Doctor, how's this even possible". he asked the moment he got to where they were. 

"well, can we all take a seat while I explain what I know". she said and they all nod in agreement before taking a seat. 

"First, I guess y'all already know that Luna is no ordinary wolf". she said while they nod in agreement. 

"Yes, but what is she".asher said impatiently, causing the pack doctor to smile. 

"Well, she's a hybrid".

"what!". they all yelled. 

"yes, a hybrid, part wolf, part witch, and that's the cause of the unusual color of her fur as well as eyes".

"the gold part signifies her warrior wolf, which is very rare, while the white part signifies her witch, a white witch". she explained. 

"but I don't understand, how's this even possible, i was certain she's a human". Lance said, confusion written all over his face. 

"well alpha, Luna was never born a human, she's In Fact a pure hybrid, right from birth, and not just that, she's a descendant of the moon goddess".

"what!". they all yelled in unison, each one of them had their eyes popped out in shock, and lance was not an exception. 

"impossible". Asher whispered. 

"well beta, it's possible". she smiled. 

"All the same, the rest of the story is left for the Luna to tell, I'm sure she now knows the whole truth about herself".

"what do you mean". Lance questioned. 

"Well alpha, that's not my story to tell, I've told you all I know, the Luna will also tell her part". she said, getting up. 

"I should head back to the clinic now". She said and they all heard the sound of someone knocking the door. 

"I'll go see who's there". Grace said, whilst getting up to answer the call. 

On opening the door, she let out a gasp. 

"guys, y'all need to come see this". she said, and they all stared at each other before heading outside. 

"holy shit". Lily muttered. 

The whole pack was outside the alpha's home, men, women, children, both old and young. 

"Alpha, we heard the call of the Luna, where's she?". someone said from the crowd. 

"Alpha, you never mentioned anything about our Luna being found". came another. 

"yes alpha, why didn't you tell us". Another said, and like that, the murmuring and questioning increased. 

Lance's eyes frantically searched the crowd, this seriously can't be happening. 

"silence". he said in a commanding tone, and immediately, the whole crowd fell silent as they all bowed their heads. 

"I should get angry and possibly punish each and every one of you for this". he said as he heaved a sigh. 

"but I wouldn't". he said, and the whole crowd stared at each other in shock, this was new, something has definitely happened to their alpha. 

"I have my reasons for keeping the fact that I've found my mate and your Luna a secret". he said, as he waited for a while for his word to sink in. 

"and now, I'm going to say that reason".

"that reason is......".

"alpha". Someone called from the crowd and he noticed the whole crowd staring at something behind him with wide eyes. 

He turned to behold a shocking sight, there stood Gwen, she was putting on one of his shirts. It was an oversized tee shirt that stopped right above her knees, but that wasn't the case, she looked totally different. 

her hair color has changed from the beautiful ebony black to a pure and bright color of gold and white, half part was white, and the other, gold, even her eye color was the same, her skin glowed brightly, she truly looked like a goddess. 

his eyes met hers,and she welcomed him with a beautiful smile. 

"Hello mate". he heard her voice In his head, and he could do nothing but stare at her in awe. Well, not just him, every one gave her the same look. 

she smiled beautifully before stepping out to address the pack. 

"great wolves of the red moon pack, my name's gwen and as you all know, I'm the soon to be Luna of this pack". she said in a loud voice and immediately, the whole crowd cheered, clearly, they were all happy she's going to be their Luna, they could tell she was different. 

"please keep calm". she said with a smile, and they all fell silent once again. 

"I've said soon to be because as you all know, I'll officially be the Luna of this pack, when I'm finally crowned the Luna, a day will be fixed for the coronation". she said, and they all clapped their hands, each and everyone had a smile on their faces. 

She waited for them to calm down before she continued. 

"and as for why the alpha kept the fact that he's found his mate a secret, I'll be the one to explain it all to you right now, and not just that, I'll also say the things which my mother has told me". she said as she heaved a sigh. 

"my mother, the moon goddess Celine". she said, and the whole pack gasped in shock as they all started to murmur. 

"how is this possible".

"oh my goodness, she's the moon goddess daughter".

"this seems so hard to believe".

"we're truly blessed to have her as our Luna".

These were some of the words they were all saying.

"everyone calm down, please". she said, I as her eyes glowed brightly, she's found out the gift her mother has given to her, she now knows, she's a hybrid, part wolf, part witch, well, it was all thanks to Kiara, and now, she's using her powers to keep everyone calm.

"yes, I'm the daughter of the moon goddess, and now, please everyone, pay attention to what I have to say". she said, as she went on to explain everything to the pack, she told them the reason Lance kept it a secret, she told them the story her mother told her, about herself, about the witch, and finally, about the impending war. 

and by the time she was done, the whole pack stood silent for a while, everyone lost in their own thoughts, and for the first time, she found herself getting nervous. 

"Luna". Someone from the crowd said as he stepped forward, he bowed his head in respect before he continued with what he had to say. 

"luna, I've heard all what you've said, and I'm going to say that truly, we've been blessed and favored by the moon goddess to have you as our Luna, and I want to say that if a war is to happen, i would fight alongside with you, I would lay down my life for you luna". he said, and the whole pack nod in agreement.

"Long live the queen".

"Long live the Luna". They all began to chant.

Gwen turned to look at Lance, and he engulfed her in a hug. 

"I'm so proud of you my queen". he said and she felt her head swell with pride. 

she gave him a quick kiss before pulling away, Kiara began to surface as a heavy wind blew. 

snapping of bones could be heard as she finally let Kiara out, the whole crowd gasp in awe at the huge and beautiful sight of her wolf, no doubt, she was their Luna. 

Kiara let out a howl, and they all smiled, they understood what she meant, one by one, they all transformed into their wolf, every single one of them, even Asher and the rest, lance was not an exception.

he walked towards his mate as he gave the control to cornor, he transformed into his huge beast as he let out a fierce roar. 

Gwen howled once more and the pack followed suit. 

together, they all howled in unison. 

"HOOOOOOOWWWLLLL".
