"No...."Asher yelled as he rushed to meet gwen. 

"Luna". He called. 

"help him". She screamed. 

"Luna he's.... ". He was saying when Gwen shot him a glare that was enough to kill.

"don't you dare finish that statement, do you hear me, don't you dare finish that statement, Lance is not dead, he'll never leave me, he promised me, he'll never leave me". She fired in tears.

"Luna". Asher called once more, and by now, he was also in tears, he even dreaded the thought of going close to her.

Lily, Leo, Grace and Clara all rushed Gwen, they all watched her in tears. 

"alpha". Lily whispered, wiping her tears with her palms. 

"Lance, please wake up". Gwen cried out, hitting his chest repeatedly.

"you can't just die like this, you wouldn't dare do this to me". She cried. 

"Luna, we can still take him to the pack doctor to see if there's something she can do, his heart still beats". Lily said and Gwen stood up immediately. 

"let's go then". She yelled, she tried using magic, but it didn't work. 

Asher and Leo both carried lance, heading to the clinic, lily, grace and Clara all went to get the pack doctor from the bunker, as well as the other people in there, after all, the war was over. 

The wolves all watched in tears as they took their alpha away, and they all fell to their knees, praying to the moon goddess for his safety. 

They got to the clinic, and they quickly placed lance on a bed. Gwen has refused to let go of his hand, she kept on praying that nothing bad happens to him. 

"Oh my goodness, Alpha". The pack doctor cried out, hurrying to check his wound. 

"make sure you save him, please do something". Gwen said. 

"Luna please, I'll need you to excuse me, I can't do anything with you here". The doctor said, 

"no, I'm not leaving lance, you'll do whatever you have to do in my presence, I'm not letting go of Lance, do you hear me". She yelled. 

"please luna, please, you can wait outside, let me do my job".

"I said no, are you deaf, I won't leave him, and you better get to work right this instant, nothing bad Must happen to him". She growled. 

"Gwen". Margret called as she rushed in with Linda and Emily. 

"m mother". Gwen stuttered, and Margret hugged her tightly, she also had tears in her eyes, she just couldn't bear the sight of her son lying down there and looking so pale and lifeless. 

"please my child, let's wait outside and let the doctor do her job". She pleaded. 

"no mother, I I I don't want to leave lance alone, I want to stay mother, please". She cried. 

"Gwen please, let's do as the doctor said, there's not much time to waste, she needs to work fast if she wants to save him, and she can't do that with you here, please Gwen". Emily pleaded. 

Gwen took one last look at Lance before she unwillingly went outside with them. 

half an hour has gone by and the doctor still hasn't come out yet, everyone sat impatiently waiting for her to come out, Gwen couldn't take it anymore, so she stood up to pace around the corridor, she felt like barging in there to find out what's happening, and she was about doing just that when the pack doctor finally came out. 

"doctor". Margret said as they all rushed to meet her. 

"how's lance". Gwen asked impatiently. 

The pack doctor had a sad look, and they all got scared thinking that something bad might have happened. Suddenly, she smiled brightly. 

"the alpha is alive and well". She said. 

The moment she said that, everyone became happy, Gwen couldn't even stop the tears of joy that rolled down her cheeks, Asher quickly gave a loud howl of happiness, and when the pack heard the howl of their beta, they knew immediately that the alpha is alive.

the howling of the pack could be heard, they began to cheer and celebrate their victory and alpha's health. 

"Doctor, please tell us what happened". Martha asked. 

"well, the sword that was used to stab the alpha had wolfsbane on it, but the wolfsbane couldn't kill him due to the fact that he isn't just an ordinary werewolf, but a lycanthrope, he was only weakened by that, but not dead, I've burnt out the wolfsbane in him and also gave him a sedative, so the alpha will be awake by tomorrow morning, and his injury should be fully healed within two days''. She said with a smile. 

"Oh goodness, thank you very much". Margret said. 

gwen quickly rushed in to see Lancelot, the place he was stabbed has been neatly closed up, he looks so pale, yet he still managed to look handsome, she caressed his cheek Affectionately, feeling so thankful that she hasn't lost her alpha, she still placed a finger under his nose to confirm if he's still breathing.

"you really scared me lance, I won't forgive you for this, you're so lucky you didn't dare to leave me". She said, wiping off her tears with the back of her palm. 

"what would I have done if I had lost you today, I wouldn't be able to live without you Lance, I can't ever live without you". She said amidst tears. 

"I love you so damn much Lance, please wake up quickly". She sniffed. 

Gwen was so lost in staring at lance, she didn't notice that everyone was there watching her, they all watched her with a smile on their faces. 

"c'mon, let's leave them alone". Margret whispered and they all gave a positive nod before stepping out quietly.

lance slowly opened his eyes, but shut them immediately due to the brightness of the light, he waited for a while for his eyes to adjust to the light, then he opened them slowly, he felt someone holding his hand, then he slowly turned his head to see gwen sleeping soundly, she must have fallen asleep with his hand in hers. 

Lance smiled as he watched her, then he slowly used his other hand to pat her hair lovingly. 

Gwen felt someone's hand on her hair, and she raised her head up immediately to see Lancelot, he had a smile on his handsome face. 

"lance". She called out excitedly as she jumped on him, almost suffocating him with the hug she's giving him. 

"ouch". He groaned out in pain. 

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry". She said worriedly as she let him go. 

"did I hurt you, how are you feeling, do you need anything, water, food, anything at all". She said, without giving him the chance to answer. 

"amor".

"please calm down, I'm fine, and I don't need anything, I just want to see your smile". He winked. 

*is mate being serious right now, he's not seeing anything, not after the heart attack he gave us* Kiara fummed. 

*you're right Kiara, we are not letting him off that easily* Gwen replied with a smirk. 

"oh really, so you want to see a smile, after the heart attack you gave us, how dare you scare me like that Lance, I'm never going to forgive you for that, I was so afraid I've lost you, you're such an idiot, I hate you". She fired, and she immediately burst into tears. 

"oh no mate, please don't cry, please". Lance groaned out. 

He managed to sit up, and then he pulled her to sit beside him, but still, Gwen refused to look at him, not even sparing him a glance. 

"my love, please look at me, please". He pleaded. 

he tried touching her shoulder, but she shrugged his hand off. 

"what should I do, I'll do anything, just don't give me the silent treatment please". He begged, but she still didn't face him. 

Lance sighed deeply, and then an idea struck him. 

'"aaaaaa". He screamed, holding onto his injured chest. 

"lance". Gwen panicked as she turned to face him. 

"Are you alright, I'll go get the doctor". She said, but as she made to get up, Lance held her back. 

"amor, please forgive me, I'm so sorry for scaring you like that, please don't give me the cold shoulders, I can't take it". He said. 

"you fool". Gwen fired as she finally noticed he pranked. 

"fine, just don't ever try to leave me ok". She said with a glare. 

"never, and besides, who's the strongest alpha". He smirked. 

"silly, it's you ". She laughed. 

"good, so now, come give me a kiss". He said with a pout. 

"nope, you're not getting anything, that's your punishment". She replied, folding her hands to her chest. 

"you can't be serious, please mate, tell me you're joking". He said, sounding like he was about to cry. 

"of course I'm serious, no kisses for you for a month".

"please mate, please don't do that". He said, battling his lashes at her and giving her his best puppy eye look. 

"aaarg, don't give me that look". Gwen muttered , shielding her eyes with her palm. 

"I'm not falling for it".

"please mate, please ".

"Ok fine". She giggled as she went back to sit beside him. 

"first, don't ever think of dying ok".

"Ok love, I'll never leave you, we're stuck to each other, forever". He winked. 

"Better". She smiled. 

Gwen quickly pulled him to her as they both kissed each other passionately.
