"Lance". Gwen yelled the moment she came into the house, slamming the door behind her. 

"Lance". She cried out once more. 

"oh goodness, amor". Lance said as he rushed to her side in a flash. 

"what's wrong". He questioned worriedly as he cupped her face with both of his palms. 

His eyes searched behind her, he was definitely expecting to see her friend. 

"What's wrong, my love, where's emily". he asked. 

"they took her". She said as she hugged him tightly, sobbing into his chest. 

"Valerie, she took her Lance, she took Emily and her mom, she took them lance". She cried. 

"shh, calm down, it's alright". He said, patting her hair. 

"it's all my fault lance, I couldn't save her, I couldn't save her lance". She sobbed. 

"it's not your fault, I'm sure you did your best to save both of them, I shouldn't have let you go there alone, without me". He growled. 

''Emily". Gwen whispered, sobbing harder. 

"shh, I promise you, we'll get her back, no matter what, I promise you that my love". He said, hugging her tighter. 

"I can't let anything bad happen to Emmy Lance, I would never be able to forgive myself if she gets hurt because of me".

"nothing's gonna happen to her amor, please, get a hold of yourself, we'll get her back".

"we have to save her Lance, we have...". She trailed as she cried even more. 

"shhh, we'll save her, I promise you that". Lance said. 

His eyes held a distant look for a while, seeing his mate like this was hurting him, he could feel her pains in waves, it hurt him that he wasn't there with her.

The wolves dragged Emily and her mother, throwing them roughly to the floor, they'll be keeping them in a cell. 

"you poor thing". Valerie sighed as she looked at Emily with fake pity. 

"what do you want from us". Emily yelled in tears, still on the floor. 

Her mother crawled to her side, taking her hands and holding it tightly, then she looked up at Valerie, fear written all over her face. 

"oh nothing, I don't need anything from you". She smiled. 

"what could you possibly give anyways". She laughed. 

"anyways, I just need you to get back at that stupid friend of yours".

"what are you planning to do to Gwen". She yelled, her voice quivering with fear. 

Not the fear of Valerie, but of something bad happening to Gwen. 

"do you really want to know". Valerie smirked, while Emily glared at her with hatred. 

"Anyways, I'm going to tell you".

"you know darling, your dearest friend loves you so much, even more than her own self". She laughed. 

"But then, this love will have to be the end of her, sad, isn't it? ". She sighed. 

"you are the ticket to her death, know what that means' '. She said , batting her lashes at Emily. 

"Since she loves you so much, and I'm sure she'll do anything to save you, as well as your dear mother, I'm going to use that against her''. 

"when I make her come here, cause I'll definitely make her come". She giggled. 

"I'll have to......".

"kill your darling friend". She laughed. 

Emily's eyes widened with shock, and her mother gripped her hand even tighter. 

"no, don't you dare hurt Gwen". She yelled in tears. 

"you know, for an ordinary human, you're so bold".

"leave Gwen alone". She said, glaring intensely at Valerie. 

"you had better keep shut darling, after all, there's nothing you can do to save your friend".

"you should be worried about you and your mother".

"but don't worry, I'll make you watch your dear friend die a painful death". She giggled. 

"if you dare hurt Gwen, I'll kill you". Emily said fearlessly.

"oh my goodness, what da nerve".

"hey woman, look at your daughter, she's already digging her own grave with her hands". She smirked. 

"p p please spare us". Her mother pleaded in tears. 

"don't plead for our lives mother, she's not gonna listen, she's nothing but a devil without a heart". Emily said, hugging her crying mother to her side. 

"goodness, I love this girl, woman, are you sure you gave birth to her, she's so bold and fearless, and you're the complete opposite".

"no matter what you do, you'll never be able to defeat gwen, you can try as much, but you'll never be able to do that, my gwen is stronger than you think, and you luring her here with your so called brilliant plan is like luring yourself to your own death , you had better rethink this before it's too late, walk away or you'll be the one to meet your end". She said in a challenging voice. 

"hmm, nice speech, but you choose the wrong words". Valerie said darkly, clearly, Emily just got on her bad side. 

"bring me the girl, and hold onto her mother tightly". She ordered. 

Two male wolves moved to carry out her orders, one dragged Emily up roughly, while the other pulled her mother up, holding her tightly. 

"let go of me". Emily yelled, struggling against his hold. 

"please, let her go". Her mother pleaded in tears as she also struggled to free herself.

Valerie used her magic to create a pole, after which, Emily was tied to it.

"what do you think you're doing? She yelled, struggling to lose herself. 

"I'm about to teach you a lesson of what happens when you step on my bad side, next time you'll learn to watch your tongue girl". She said in anger. 

"Oh really,I see what you're trying to do, you don't scare me with your threats witch, do whatever you want, but I have faith in Gwen, she's the light to your darkness, and she'll definitely overcome your darkness". Emily smiled. 

"Emily please shut up, please shut up, don't say anything more". Her mother yelled in tears, still struggling to free herself. 

"No mother, I won't shut up, I'm not gonna let this witch get to me, she can do whatever she wants, but I won't stop telling the truth". She said. 

"Emily". Her mother cried out loudly. 

"no problem girl, I'll make you eat your words". Valerie hissed loudly. 

"bring the whip, and don't stop until I tell you to". She ordered. 

The wolf who tied Emily to the pole came back, holding a horse whip, he had an evil grin on his face. 

The first hit landed on Emily's chest, making her scream in pain. 

"aaaa". She screamed as hot tears rolled down her cheeks. 

"please stop it". Her mother yelled in tears. 

"whip her harder, I want to hear her screams". Valerie laughed. 

the man smirked as he continued whipping emily. 

Emily screamed in pain as each stroke hit her harder, she kept on screaming in pain, all to the delight of Valerie.

"stop". Valerie yelled, and the man stopped immediately. 

"why don't you plead, beg me, and I'll let you go". She said. 

Emily looked up at her with bloodshot eyes which held only pain and hate, her body covered in cuts and bruises, her clothes torn and soaked with her own blood. 

her breaths came heavily, she was weak, but she's not going to beg this witch to spare her, never. 

"Emily please, do this for your mother , please my child, do as she says, I'm begging you". Her mother cried.

"please spare my child, let my baby girl go". She cried. 

"shut up woman, your darling daughter must be the one to plead for her release". She smirked. 

"witch". Emily smiled. 

"I will never beg you".

"no matter what ". She said, staring deeply into Valerie's eyes. 

Valerie smirked in anger. 

"So be it". She said. 

"whip her till she's exhausted". She ordered. 

Valerie looked at Emily angrily before turning to leave the cell. 

"foolish girl". She muttered. 

She smiled in satisfaction the moment she heard Emily's screams of pain. 

her screams filled the building, and then. 

silence. 

"Emily......". Her mother wailed. 

"Nooooo.........".
